... Petco Park (are they really going to CALL it that?) continues a disturbing trend.
Remember in the 70's, when Three Rivers Stadium looked exactly like Atlanta Fulton-County Stadium looked exactly like Veterans Stadium looked exactly like Busch Memorial Stadium looked exactly like Riverfront Stadium?
Now, Petco Park looks exactly like Pac Bell Park looks exactly like Coors Field looks exactly like Jacobs Field looks exactly like Oriole Park At Camden Yards Across The Street From The Old B & O Warehouse.
Does baseball hire one architect per decade to design ALL the ballparks?

HEY MARK!! ARE YOU GOING TO SAN DIEGO SOON???????????? I THOUGHT I HEARD YOU SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THAT A MILLION TIMES
Hey be nice. We're going to the Pads game on Thursday.
I was listening to Steve Czaban's talk show, and he mentioned that Mark/Odessa Steps would be going to San Diego, see the Padres play and then head across the border to Tijuana to watch some Mexican wrestling. Talk about breaking sports news.
Wow. That's cool. I didn't hear that, because Czaban's show isn't on (in the town where I am right now).

LOL, he mentioned that too. He also said he'd try and delay reading all the results of the pro-am until Monday when you'd be able to hear them. You must be some customer!
He got the win, ended the losing streak, and reestablished the division lead in double digits. Taking days off the schedule and keep me from getting paranoid about an historic collapse are what concerns me now. Now, onto the other Sox.
