THAT was impressive. Pacquaio overcame a bogus knockdown in round 1, floored Barrera in round 3 and basically kicked Barrera's ass like no one ever had. I thought Manny looked like a less unconventional Prince Naseem with his unstoppable offensive barrage.
Also, upon a second viewing, I was surprised to see how much Roy kicked Tarver's ass from rounds three through eight. He really dominated the action in those rounds and there I think the fight wasn't as close as it seemed live.

Yeah the Pac man put it on him. I enjoyed it for the most part because I'm still pissed at Barrera for how he did the Prince. But it's sad to see anyone get pummeled like that after a while.
That was the main thing I liked about Pacquaio, he did not let up at all. Brain surgery or whatever, there was no sympathy no prisoners taken. A fight with Marquez would be awesome.
After I saw the Jones fight, I really don't see what the big deal is. Jones didn't dominate for 12 rounds but he won the fight. Tarver needs to shut the hell up. Had he done that and listened to Buddy, he may have won. That was his best chance cuz Jones was in bad shape.
He actually looked kinda soft like Holyfield did against Toney. Both of those guys usually look like they were chiseled out of glass. I hope Jones gives him a rematch but he really has nothing else to prove.

After seeing the Jones-Tarver replay, I've got to agree with the 116-112 for Jones (although I've got different rounds than Harold Letterman).
God DAMN did Barrerra get a helacious ass-whamping (tm Steven Colbert). Usually skilled fighters like Barrerra can be counted on to figure out an opponent after a few rounds and pull out a win after a situation like the first few rounds of that fight (Kostya Tszyu's made a career out of it), but I think Barrerra was just too hurt and exhausted to do anything about it by the time he did. I agree it seemed like he wasn't in great shape for the fight. It'll be intersting to see if goes Naseem Hamed on us (BTW, the Price=ALL HYPE), or if he gets back in there.

I thought it was another great episode. It was a good thing Mike had that graphic "Yes/No" program all ready to go. Maybe Palmer should have noticed when Mike was having IT guys work on that all morning.
