The Bombers are even playing the Riders on Sunday, so I'll be seeing that game in person. I've got a bad feeling he might score 3 return TDs on us, because our special teams are ass. When he's not playing us, though, I expect him to be mostly ineffectual.

At least there's nothing to do in Winnipeg, so he'll probably be on his best behaviour.

Winnipeg. Wait a sec...WINNIPEG?!?! Wow. Didn't see that coming.

I love the Blue Bombers, but seriously, there are so many better teams he could play for.

But regardless, talk of his signing was the watercooler chat of the day (so to speak) and the guys at work are excited to see what he can do for us. GO BLUE BOMBERS!

Hmm, I have to believe there would be interest from a UFL team. It appears the CFL's soft salary cap is pretty close to what the UFL wants to spend per team in their 6 week season. I'd say he can do both, but the seasons overlap. His agent must not expect much out of the UFL.

I actually totally forgot about this guy until I heard about this today. I'll be surprised if he has much left, but something about well known players going to Canadian Football always interests me.

And Winnipeg won't be signing him after all... (sports.espn.go.com)

And UFL fans everywhere rejoice...

You believe me, don't you?
Please believe what I just said...

DeMaurice Smith and the NFLPA essentially had their testicles ripped out in one motion with the latest CBA. They're going to eat this and like it. But the owners might want to settle this sooner than later.
