Pacman gets a year off, Henry 8 games. While I am shocked the NFL actually came down that hard on these guys I have no problems with the length of suspension considering these guys are multiple offenders.

Gene Upshaw is the only man who matters here. If he, and the players union fight this, (which I hope they dont) this might turn ugly. I hope the Union says "enough's enough" with this type behavior and lets them sit.

I think it was Mort who was on Dan Patrick's show today saying that when he did a poll of player representatives(typically two per team) he came away with about 80% saying that Pacman should be BANNED from the league permanantly. Suprising, but if that's anywhere near accurate I would expect the Union to help Pacman because they have to, but not put their best effort into it.

Sounded, as far as I'd heard, that the NFLPA was pushing the league to come down hard on them. Sort of like the push for tougher penalties for steroids in baseball, in that the ones that don't rack up charges don't want to be painted with the same brush as Pacman and Henry. I sorely doubt that the union will put up much of a fight here.
He did? I thought he played great other than the fumble. The rest of the team is what lost this game. Defense couldn't get a stop and all of a sudden everyone was fumbling. But Jameis was on point for the most part, making good reads and throws.
