Why the hell do they have the replay rule when they don't have a clue what makes a fumble? Obviously, Davenport was down...even the KC fan here said he was...

We can't even get a break in the preseason....;)

The ghost of a steam train - echoes down my track
It's at the moment bound for nowhere -
just going round and round
Playground kids and creaking swings -
lost laughter in the breeze
I could go on for hours and I probably will -
but I'd sooner put some joy back
In this town called malice

Better to make the mistakes when they don't count...perhaps then adjustments can be made before the real thing starts.

Besides, at this rate it won't matter. If they can't SCORE, what's the difference between losing 3-0, 9-0 or 70-0?

I'm not too worried...at least no one got zapped by the lightning! It's only the first pre-season game, I'm looking more forward to the 3rd or 4th pre-season game to see if Wesley Walls is going to have any positive impact.

If it works out well, we could have the best tight end combo in Green Bay since Chmura-Jackson.

GO PACK!!

I slept through the game. How did Holmes look?

He does have contract issues, but it's DEUCE that's holding out...and getting fined $5K a day that he doesn't report (I think he can afford it)

Priest wants more money based on his performance over the last two seasons, and Carl Peterson (the Chiefs GM) wants to be sure that his hip is healthy. The two (I think) are going to meet somewhere in the middle this preseason. Riki is right, it is Duce that's holding out, and its completely ludicrous, he's not as good as he thinks he is. I think he's scared that he's going to lose his job soon and wants to steal some dough.

I dunno...Walls is 37 years old. Still, his signing doesn't bode well for Tyrone Davis. Gotta love how Walls turned down Snyder and the Redskins' $$$ for the chance to play with a winner in Titletown.

I was much more impressed with Nick Barnett. Gotta keep my hopes down, but maybe, just maybe, the Packers' eternal quandry at middle linebacker might be answered. Maybe.

Oh, and Mother Nature's deputies in Ohio HATE the Packers. Must be bitter Cleveland fans from the 60's. :-)

Good Lord you scared me by saying Deuce instead of Duce. I thought McAllister was holding out and I'd missed it somehow.

Seriously, Staley is an asshat. But I like it, since Buckhalter could be a huge sleeper this year.

Who cares? It's only the preseason.......

.......that said, if Green Bay had won the game convincingly, the Super Bowl posts would already be up. ;)

I got a feeling the Packers are going to be dreadful this year. 500 at best, the mystic of Lambeau Field is gone the night The Falcons beat the Pack.

Oooh! Watch yourself...Lambeau has lost none of it's mystique what-so-ever.

The Falcons didn't beat Lambeau, they beat an extremely injured and limping team that did better than expected, all things considered.

I think, barring an injury bug, you'll have to watch out for the Pack again this year. Favre has never looked real impressive in the pre-season...that was Matt Hasselback's job.

I'll predict play off bound easily, but where they go from there depends on what kind of damage the season brings.

I like Buckhalter as much as the next guy, Westbrook too for that matter, but I'd far rather be going in with a fit and motivated Duce this season. Having said that we look like we're gonna have more worries the other side of the ball this season. And those damned schedulers haven't done us any favours either.

Hey, so, this locks today. Still a few hours to get in and/or make sure you've made a pick. I want to beat you not because you forgot it was happening, but because you are slightly worse at this guessing game than me.
