After going 0-4 on a Western Conference road trip (and losing seven of the past eight games) the Pacers
finally terminated their coach, Jim O'Brien. And all I can say is, it's about freakin' time.
Assistant coach Frank Vogel was named head coach for the rest of the season. He could only be an improvement on O'Brien, who was always looking for the quick fixes, not permitting any continuity, and minimizing the efforts of young guys who worked hard.
