Just a thought... It's been out for a little while now, so everyone with a ps2 has had a chance to mess around with Smackdown: Just Bring it! My question is, what are some of the "dream" tag teams you guys(and dolls) out there have put together? In my spare time, I admit to putting together some pretty strange and funny ones, just to see how they'd look as a team. My current fave is a team I don't think ANYONE has ever considered, but just might get over as a team: Billy Gunn and Raven (feel free to post any gimmicky team name you please!) Some others were Eddy Guerrero and Steve Blackman, Perry Saturn and Triple H, Kurt Angle and Tazz, and the reunion of the "Vanilla Midgets" Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko.

I've just about given up on this game because I am horrible at it.

Like, I'll put Big Show against Molly Holly.... and lose.

Argh.

My current tag team champions are Kane and Raven, and I am chasing the titles with Bret and Owen Hart (or at least the best imitations I could create myself).

Check out Gamespot.com for some pretty good directions for making superstars. This one guy's Bret Hart was scary good. Big Show losing to Molly Holly... Looking at his track record, is that REALLY so hard to believe?

On Smackdown 2 for PSOne, I made "Latino Heat" with Eddie Guerrero and Essa Rios. I also made "Brood 2001" with Viscera and Gangrel. Rikishi and The Rock were "The Island Boys."

Harlem Heat would jazz up the WWF's tag team division, you know.

I made RVD and Jerry Lynn the tag champs on Smackdown 3. A few days ago I said WTF, and bought Legends Of Wrestling. Sigh, The world's most expensive coaster.

If anyone knows any way I can make LOW fun please let me know.

I acutally enjoy LOW! I prefer the controls in LOW to the ones in Smackdown. It's easier to learn and keeps your from tapping every button in the hope of doing something cool. Also, being such a Bret Hart mark, it doesn't get any better! Ted Dibiase, Ricky Steamboat, and so many others in one package! It's really great!

I can see your point. I guess after playing SD3, LOW seem so so slow. I'll give it a chance.

Actually, the problem is Smackdown is too fast. It's not a bad game, but it's not realistic either. (Then again, realistic probably isn't the best word used to describe a game about a worked sport anyway.) Regardless, once Wrestlemania X8 comes out for the Gamecube, if they follow through on their promises to make it like No Mercy, I doubt I'll be playing much Smackdown anymore.

My fantasy tag-teams? Well, I haven't really dabbled all that much with it, but my first tag-team champions were The Rock and Triple H. I tend to like the guys who have finishers that are easy to pull off. That means that guys with quick finishers like The Rock Bottom or the Stunner, or guys with “knock your opponent down” finishers like Y2J's Lionsault are the guys I wrestle with the most.

Well, you can change each wrestler's moveset to give them whatever moves you want. Go on... Give Lita the stinkface as a finisher, or have Stone Cold do Tajiri's stiff-ass kick of doom!

Does anyone know what movesets they say will crash your memory card?
Or maybe if it's been fixed in newer versions?

CRZ - please can we have a video games forum? Call it NASCAR and it'll shut up those other guys at the same time.

Goldberg's does, as my idiot fucking roommate corrupted my card trying to make a useless Goldberg CAW that I told him not to save. Grand Master Sexay does too I heard.

Basically. Look at the moveset before you put it on a wrestler. If the moveset only has one special move, don't use it. That's what corrupts the card, I believe. Only use movesets with two specials.

Wait, what? I've never heard of this.

What's the deal? Is this documented somewhere online? Does it kill the whole memory card or just your SD! saves? This is for SD3 on PS2, yes?

It just corrupts the SD save file so far as I can tell. When you start the game up, it crashes the game on loading from the card. I know it crashed after my roommate made Goldberg (my Hurricane, Hall, and Nash were fine), and I read it's because Goldberg's moveset only has one special move instead of two.

Like I said before, I'd recommend looking at a moveset before adding it to a CAW to verify that it has two specials. It sucks having to unlock everything from scratch.

This was great. Austin has such a wonderful knowledge of the business as well as respect for it. Austin should be doing Raw instead of JBL, hell listening to it again why not JR and Heyman?
