Angle defeated Eddie, Edge, and Benoit to become the #1 contender at the tapings tonight. Please let this be a sign of things to come! Bring the belt back to Angle!
Mysterio gets taken out, and the guy that gets the big push by putting him on the shelf is... Albert?
The long-running feud with Dawn Marie and Torrie now takes another unnecessary twist, with Dawn Marie offering herself to her future stepdaughter so that... Torrie won't have to be her stepdaughter. Yeah, fuck this shit.
They need a heart-wrenching THIS IS REAL interview and go to... Benoit? Why are he and Angle not hugging? A divorce? Kids he never sees? Wanted to be champ since he was 3 years old? The hell?
DeMott vs. Funaki is too good for Velocity, but Matt Hardy gets stuck there?
The 4 way sounds good, who knows, but this is one of those weeks where I just wish the spoilers were fake.
If this means we're getting the belt off Big Slug and onto Angle to set up Angle/Brock for Wrestlemania, I'm all for it!
But we've set up a dilemma here. Looks like we now need an official Angle face turn, unless we're going for a heel/heel match and headlining Armageddon with (Good God) HHH/HBK.
It'd be kinda odd to have a babyface where we chant "You suck" to his music, no?
Hail the man who fought Vince McMahon and won! Hail the man who dared to stand up against shitty booking! Hail the man who stood by his principles! Hail the conquering hero! Stone Cold is coming!

Just out of curiosity... other than "it would be cool and a good match", why does everyone seem to think Angle/Brock is a sure thing for Wrestlemania? Don't get me wrong, it'd be cool and all, but it seems to me that Angle/Benoit is a more likely choice right now...
Given Angle's tendency to put people over, I really don't see him winning the belt off the Big Show as long as Brock can be back to finish off his feud with Show by the December PPV.

There was an article in a recent WWE or RAW Magazine that seemed to allude to it as well.
Not only that, but in one of those interviews, Angle has gone as far as to say his match with Brock will be THE best match of all time! Quite the boast from our Olympic hero.
Personally, I can't wait to see if Angle and Brock can back that claim up.

They've been teasing Angle & Lesnar since after SummerSlam. It's one of the few, maybe only, matches that we've never seen involving top guys. That's why I'd like to see it as the Mania Main Event because it's something totally fresh. Although, I see it playing second fiddle to Triple H's match.
Not sure I like where this is going. To have Show probably lose the title one month after building him up to be this unstoppable monster seems kinda lame. What do they do with him after that? Lose a rematch to Brock at or around the rumble and then back to mid card hell? I'm not the biggest fan of Show but he's made a decent job of his latest push and he deserves, and I hope he gets better than that.
I see Lesnar interference on this one, leading to the Angle win. Kurt could then brag about doing it all himself and that could jump start the feud right there. Although, another scenario could be Angle winning and facing Benoit at WM. I've heard they want to hold off the Lesnar/Angle match for as long as possible to get the fans frothing at the mouth for it.
The show opened with Vickie Guerrero revealing she'd been placed in charge tonight, and (re?)booking an 11 on 3 handicap tag team match for the main event with the Shield vs. Triple H's midcard heel posse.
