Love that OK GO song. I saw them open for They Might Be Giants not long before TMBG's "No" album came out. They were really good live, and were nice to talk to afterwards too.
Rhett Miller's solo album is one of my favourites of the year. I like "Our Love" better than "Come Around" tho, so hopefully that will be the next "single"
I realize that young Mr. Adams is experiencing quite a backlash, but I really like his new album too. "Nuclear" is a fabulous little pop song, and "Hallelujah" and "Starting to Hurt" rock my world. The man can write and can play. That's what matters to me.
DrewDewce says (I'm putting this in there 'cause I haven't figured out the quote thing yet): "Rhett Miller's solo album is one of my favourites of the year. I like "Our Love" better than "Come Around" tho, so hopefully that will be the next "single""
Agreed. I got into him through "Ed" on NBC (great show!), when they played an Old 97's song during an episode, then got the album that song was on, got three more, and now I've got his solo, which is awesome. Although, I think (and hope) that "World Inside the World" will be the next single. I love it--it's so beautiful.
I also got some of his earlier stuff before the 97's today, along with some live--the man just plain kicks ass.

(edited by rosty69 on 24.11.02 2134) They should push Batista as the RAW monster and have D-VON DUDLEY beat Brock Lesnar and become the Smackdown monster and have a big payoff fight on PPV.
Those two are the future of pro-wrestling.

This is why I like boards like this--everyone's got their own opinion, and no one belittles it.
Matthew: You would've loved it, David. A week in a foreign country, strange people, strange customs... Dave: Oh, I know what you mean. I've been to Canada.
the sum-41 song isn't awful, but it's kind of ironic how "punk" groups these days are playing ripoff "metal" riffs in their songs, when punk was originally a rejection of the excesses of metal.

What's funny is until they were featured in a video game (I think Madden.....) OK GO couldn't get a record deal or publicity.
at first i was impressed to see Hot Hot Heat and Liars in your Top Ten. but then i see Sev with possibly one of the most inane and unoriginal songs of the past five years at number 7 and i lose most of my respect for that list. i can't and won't argue with someone's personal opinions, but with your impressive eclectic tastes i would think you would see Sev for what it truly is - a 6th generation rap-rock drivel band.
"Are those two the gay ones you were talking about? I mean... look at those hideous pants.." - a female friend on seeing Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho on screen

I think they are more like the second coming of Green Day....or is it the third? Forth??
How much wood can a wood chuck chuck, if a wood chuck could chuck wood?
