Anyone that can answer this - well, I will owe them my life, senor.
Here's the problem that started about 2 weeks ago...
When I try to play a DVD movie, the disc loads fine and actually plays. It goes through the FBI Warning and all that stuff without a hitch, however, once it gets to the previews, or title menu, or first part of the movie, it starts getting fuzzy and the screen starts rolling, like a tracking problem on a VCR. The actual movie continues to play but it is out of focus and fuzzy and occasionnally blacks out for a few seconds at a time.
All my games play fine and a I've noticed a couple of my other type DVDs (ie, Eagles "hell freezez over" concert) work fine. But the movie DVDs all do this weird fuzzy thing.
Oh yeah, the audio is fine as well, it's just the video.

Are you running your PS2 through your VCR? If so, that's the issue. Run it straight out to the TV instead.
Your analogy is similar to:
"They already have cars that you can drive, why not blenders?" "I can already write with my hands, why not my pancreas?" "They already have beef that I can eat, why not granite?"
I have some SERIOUS Macrovision on my PS2 DVD Player, and I've never ran it through a VCR.
Utilizing the belief system and work ethic (Mattributes) of THE Matt Hardy to create a better life for yourself by fulfilling your goals and dreams. Mattitude is a quality that can help anyone -- regardless of background or past -- to achieve success. You just have to make it a lifestyle, a mindset, a religion. Mattitude, is something that can not be taught or learned. Mattitude is something that burns within. In the ring, Mattitude is the intangible, the x-factor, that gives me an advantage over everyone else.
Well, _somebody's_ got to be the villain in the game, right? I'm just impressed that they're doing it as a 2600 game (coded from scratch, not hacking an existing ROM)
