I can't believe no one's mentioned him yet... Arn Anderson. The man had no gimmick at all, he just walked out there calmly and whipped his opponent's ass from turnbuckle to turnbuckle. Arn and Ole Anderson are still one of my favorite teams of all time (remember how they whooped the previously indestructible Road Warriors?). I still mark out whenever I see him on tv, even though he only says on or two words before they focus on someone else... dammit. The guy didn't need a catchphrase, gimmick or props to get over like many other "greats" of the business. Arn was Arn, and dammit that was enough!
A friend in need is a friend indeed, but a friend with weed is MUCH better!
I'm a little surprised that no one named him. He could have a good match with anybody.
I started watching wrestling during the first title run of the Hart Foundation and was hooked ever since. Wrestling just seemed much more beleivable when he wrestled.
I still remember being worried about the Hart Family during the Bret/Owen feud!
It's really sad what happened to him in the end... his end in the WWF and the WCW debacle.
I still watch every show hoping he'll show up somehow. Now, maybe with the NWO... nah!
