So right now, Brock's on top of the world, getting monster pops as a face and pretty much guaranteed to beat the Big SHow at Armaggeddon. The thing is, I really don't think that the guy will remain so over as a top-line good guy when put against opponents with less dramatic impact. So, with Heyman now batting for Show, Brock needs somebody else in his corner to help keep his heat-and if necessary turn him heel again. My choice?

Shane McMahon. He has a built-in history with Heyman from the Alliance days, he's always mega-over as a face, and he knows when to step out of the spotlight for the good of the talent. And before everyone crys about having yet another mcMahon on TV, remember that Shane's always bowe dout when right and always done what's good for business. Plus he's by far and away the most entertaining of the family.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

I think Shane's great, but the WWE is probably going to let Brock Lesnar go on his own for better or worse.

If you put Shane with anyone, it becomes all about Shane:

Why is Shane backing Lesnar?
What is Shane's beef with Big Show?
What is Shane's beef with Paul Heyman?
Why did Shane return?
What is Shane planning?

Lesnar is forgotten about, he becomes the secondary person in whatever angle he's ever involved in. Shane, Vince, Steph... because they are McMahons and are therefore big characters, they will not be written into small "backup" roles. That's why you saw Jericho take a backseat to Steph.

No thanks. Dumb idea. I see no reason for it and no good to come of it, unless burying Brock and pushing Shane is your plan.

No, my plan is to give Brock another face tot his character that people can get behind. Shane is very capable of being a strong face manager, and as I've stated he knows when to step back and let it be about the talent. Besides, nobody was crowing about "Why is Paul Heyman with Brock? What is Paul Heyman planning?" when they debuted together. In storyline terms Shane is no longer employed by the WWE in any capacity. Ergo, he could be signed as an independant manager for Brock Lesnar. Shane's motivation? He gets back in on the business, alongside one of the hottest talents on SmackDown.

I would have liked to see Heyman and Lesnar stick together longer, because I enjoyed the dynamics of the relationship, and Lesnar just can't talk.

Setting him up with Shane could work out great or fail miserably. If you have a strong talker who puts over the worker, and the worker is shown as being strong enough to defy the talker, everyone benefits. If the manager starts to dominate the relationship, like with Stephanie and Jericho, you can have major problems.

Lesnar just plain needs someone to do promos and skits for him though. I nominate Funaki.

And when Lesnar finally leaves the WWE Title picture for a while-provided they keep him strong-he could be an absolutely awesome tag team wrestler. The "litte 'n' large" thing would apply, I guess-they could team him with Rey Mysterio or Billy Kidman.

Brock and Heyman were gold. Too bad Heyman is now stuck with the Big Slow. It sucks.

Brock doesn't need to cut promos. His intensity is enough for him to be super over. He could deliver a few words here and there, but that's it. I think Kane was better off not speaking and just let his mystique and rage take over as his character.

I had thought that the only good that would come out of Heyman being the Big Show's agent would be that the Show wouldn't have to speak.

His mic skills measure up to his high flying ability.

As much as I love Shane (who is the only one to rank over Kurt Angle in my book'o'favorites), I don't think Brock really needs anyone anymore. He doesn't need to talk a lot, he just needs to be a cool tough guy. And even though it could make storyline sense considering Shane's history with both Heyman AND Show (well, maybe we shouldn't go there- Shane did, after all, BEAT our current WWE champion, and we shouldn't think about THAT), I just don't think it would fit.

Shane, does, however, need to come back. Seriously. He needs to be back on RAW, though. RAW needs him, and I think he could shake things up a bit in the midcard. Plus, he did initially appear to warn Vince about Bischoff, but it's not like they'll ever follow that up or anything.

Think Happy Kurt Angle Thoughts.

If Brock does get a manager--someone to cut promos and put him over--they should bring back Curt Hennig and let him be the manager. He could calim Minnesota pride or something.

Brock needs no mouthpiece. There used to be this guy who was mega over and never needed to say anything. His name was Goldberg. The fact is, Goldberg was insanely over and he has only a shred of talent that Brock possesses. On a side note, Brock just needs to say stuff like "Brock angry! Brock smash!" or "It's clobberin' time!" and I'd be a happy man.

I'd like to see Brock use Shane as his manager, because Shane KNOWS Show. Then, after he beats Big Show back for the belt...He F5's Shane ass and says he doesn't need him anymore. Then he could hook up with Torrie for a while, she distracts an opponent that Brock needs a little help against (like Benoit). Then he has sex with her, and the day after the sex, he f5's her and says he doesn't need her anymore. Have him continue to creatively use people. It'll make look smart without having to talk constantly.

After watching his Confidential interview several weeks ago, I think Brock's biggest problem promo-wise is that he doesn't need to get psyched up to kick someone's ass. I think he's so self-confident that there's no need to get pissed off and make threats because he has no doubt that he can beat his opponent. He seems like the type of person that, during his amateur wrestling days, if someone came up to him and talked trash, he'd blow them off and not even bother responding.

Good acting requires that you be able to tap into real emotion, so if it's an emotion you've never really experienced, it's hard to carry it off unless you're a top level actor which, let's face it, nobody is in the WWE. (No, not even Kurt Angle, though he's damn good.) Because of this, instead of a monster, I always thought they should have played Brock off as a cocky asshole. I think he could pull off asshole promos just fine. Honestly, couldn't you see Kurt Angle coming up to Brock and cutting a major promo on him and Brock just rolling his eyes and walking off?

As a matter of fact, they did wonder what Heyman was plotting. But no one cared why he was with Brock, because nobody knew who the hell Brock WAS. If you're gonna put Shane with someone, put him with someone who isn't over yet... but might get over with some help. Brock isn't showing any signs of needing help getting over. Thanks for comin' out.

Well, O'Haire would have to jump to RAW first.
