Scott would be a rocking manager/valet. Out of all of them, he's the only one I'd actually like to see on WWE TV. Well, maybe Jonah in a humor gimmick.
Kelly came off as a real piece of work last night. Early in the episode, she's getting real cozy with Nick, but once Nick gets cut, she says that she no longer thinks there's going to be anything there.
HOWEVER, say Nick was able to continue, make it to the finals, and become one of the TE III champions, you know she'd be all over him. Ah, gotta love shallow girls.
I do believe they should cut Kelly. Not so much because of this, but because she doesn't have enough RUTHLESS AGGRESSION, has asthma, and looks too much like Lita. What, if she won, would they bring her in as Lita's cousin/sister? And if so, who's gonna buy that (besides the striking resemblence)?
So, the only two girls left are a shallow Lita look-a-like and a drama queen? Go John & Matt. w00t w00t
I really like the way that Al will bitch out some of the contestants before telling them to sit down. On a side note, I hope they build up Bill DeMott a little more than "Angry TE Instructor" for his return to SD. They really haven't had him be much of a factor. Most of it has been Al & Big on the instructor side.
It seemmed to me like the doctor made the injury sound more serious than Nick told anyone. I recall the doc saying something about "slight" tearing somewhere in the joints or ligaments and Nick just said to everyone it was tendonitis. It was kinda funny how Ivory brought up Jackie's name and said how she worked through a legit injury. It seemed to me like Nick played down his injury and everyone else thought he was a wuss for sitting out due to "tennis elbow"
And I agree it was funny with the thing with Kelly about Nick. One minute she's all over him and then he gets cut and she's like wow, what did i ever see in him.
Poor Scotty, getting shutdown like that on national TV. But dude, what kind of nutcase calls up a girl he hasn't talked to in 4 years, and invites her too a mansion in Cali? And apparently she barely knew who he was 4 years ago. It cracks me up how Al always tells him to grow up during the cuts. Is it me, or was Scott drinking a beer in the house? And this after he pissed himself from being drunk and saying he'd not drink again. After he got shutdown and was moping about they showed the outside of the bar and I thought "oh boy, Scott gets drunk AGAIN". But instead he jumps on stage and dances with a hottie. Go Scott!
Scott is officially the single most entertaining person on tv right now who isn't animated and on the show 3 South. I hope he lingers around until the very end just being totally insane and freaking out everyone around him. My entire family of non-wrestling fans, people who don't care at all about what happens to these folks once they get the jobs, watch every Thurs night for the continuing adventures of Scott now.
What great MTV swerves! Before the show, it's all about Nick/Kelly and John/Jamie. By the end, Kelly wants nothing to do with ol softie, and Jamie respects the girlfriend too much to go after John. Ugh.
Oh, and I'm sorry that this is coming from someone who has never trained to become a wrestler, but can't we get through ONE WEEK where someone doesn't take a simple fall or bump and has to go to the hospital? Every time the "coming next week" previews come up, there's another ambulance sighting. It might really be time for Tough Enough to use only people with some experience in wrestling (i.e. independent wrestlers).

And we thought Wendell was going to bring the chaos.
Scott is a spoiled brat, but entertaining. Remember when he was talking to his parents on the phone a few shows back? If I'd talked like that to my mom, I'd have to look for a new face, because the old one would've gotten slapped off.

I don't really see much of a resemblance between Lita and Kelly, outside of hair color. In fact, Kelly actually looks like she's part Asian to me.
And what was up with us seeing only like 2 seconds of DDP's appearance? He had to have had something more to say than "I was an old rookie."
Geez, Scott really is crazy. Calling a girl up after 4 years? I don't even remember the names of anyone I haven't seen in four years, I sure as hell have no desire to call any of them!
Has anyone noticed how low of a profile Matt seems to be keeping? You don't see too much of him when all the major stuff is going down. I don't feel like I've seen enough of the actual in-ring stuff to predict who's going to win, since we're getting a bigger helping of the MTV-style Real Rules (or is it Road World? I can never keep it straight) type drama this time around, but I get this feeling that he's going to at least go pretty far in this thing. But another part of me doesn't really want him to, just because he's so much better looking than I am that I get all insecure and start to resent him.
DIdn't somebody say on a past TE thread that the one episode that they talk about Nick was going to be the episode where he gets cut? I kind've thought Nick didn't tell them how serious his injury was either, but I probably still would've tried to work with it.
I thought it was interesting that they didn't just tell us who was cut but they actually said that they were choosing between 4 maybes. Nick (who got cut) Eric (who we haven't seen much of) Scott Kelly
So that means the one in pretty good graces right now are Jonah Matt John The Tall Guy (whatever his name is) and the other girl
I'm hoping after Eric and Kelly are gone, that the second girl goes too.
Leaving Matt, John, Jonah, the tall guy, and Scott to duke it out.

Actually Bizzle, I remember it the other way around, with the doctor telling him that it could result in tearing if he did anything strenuous with it, but he didn't consider it serious as long as he kept it immobile for a week. Then when Nick described it to the trainers, the first words out of his mouth were about how it was already torn. I've had the same thing happen to my arm and it is totally something you can work through after a couple days of minimal motion. Maybe he had it worse, I dunno.
And given the fact that Nick kept talking about how he thought he would have lasted longer than Kelly, don't you think that they might have told her that to get her reaction and then only shown us the reaction? Thats the feeling I got out of it anyways...
I would guess that they will keep at least one girl around until the end of the show even if they give the contracts to a pair of guys. Maybe they'll go as far as keeping two girls on to make it interesting.

UGH!!!
...oh yeah, this is a wrestling board; Uh, Go Macho Man!!!
(As a former Scaper who grew disgusted with the show about the beginning of season three, I can answer that.)
Because Farscape got really repetitious and melodramatic while focusing too much on storylines that made it look like "Dallas", reducing the quality while ratings failed to grow? SciFi doesn't have the money to keep around shows that are expensive to produce yet don't draw much.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled wrestling-related thread.

Just got up and went on Ticketmaster.ca and bought tickets to the show. Section 110, Row 8, Seats 21 & 22. Bought 'em right when tickets went on sale, and somehow ALL the floor seats are sold out. Before tickets even officially went on sale. Wacky.
