"Paul Heyman is the same age as Shawn Michaels and three years younger than Raven and Jerry Lynn."
I was thinking Paul Heyman was pushing 50 while Shawn was pushing 40. Does anyone here know how old Shawn and Paul E. are?
Some other statements I found interesting:
- "Kurt Angles Wife is a Former Stripper!" (nothing against Kurt's wife but, that's interesting, especially considering Kurt's milk drinking character that is often portrayed)
- "Kurt Angle had his first WWF match in mid 1998 against Christian at a WWF house show. This was four days after he began training at the WWF training facility!" (4 days after he began training? Those damn kids from Tough Enough have much more training than that, when are they going to pick up the pace like our American hero. I bet those wimps from Tough Enough can't do anything with a broken freakin' neck, much less win a gold medal.)
- " Big Show was treated for the disease acromegaly (gigantism) in 1993 at the age of 21. It was after the treatment that Big Show began to gain weight. Before he was 7'0" and 320 pounds with a 36-inch waist. After treatment his waist was 55 inches and his weight reached 550 pounds in early 1999!" (Isn't that the disease that killed Andre?)
- "HHH was scheduled to lose to the returning Ultimate Warrior in 10 minutes at WMXII. However, the Warrior insisted the match be a squash and threatened not to appear if McMahon said otherwise. McMahon, believing Helmsley had a bright future ahead of him, didn't relent until Hunter said he didn't mind doing the squash. The match lasted 1:38!" (They should have aborted the return of the Ultimate Warrior immediately if this is true)

but then they also make Kurt Angle 34. If thats the case I really hope he's not seriously considering the Olympics
If that's true, Shawn is technically older than Paul E. I guess that proves age is just a number. Shawn is obviously in considerably worse shape than when he was wrestling full time but, he's in FAR better shape and looks easily younger than Paul E. IMO.
Hey, it says that K-Kwik taught some of MC Hammers troop their dance moves. And yet he still never went on to dominate the wrestling world. Go figure eh?

I just found out that I'm older than Randy Orton and Stacy Keibler... I think that's the first time anyone's been on the WWE roster that was younger than me. That makes me feel ancient for some reason. (And they don't have the Tough Enough kids listed, but I'm sure they're younger than me, too.)

Wow shit, me too. How depressing is that. Look on the bright side though, with Stacy goin out with old buck teeth at least we know she likes an older gentleman
I, too, have heard the HHH/Warrior story. But you left out one important part. Not only did Warrior insist the match be a squash, but he flatly refused to sell any of Helmsley's moves.
As much as I dislike Triple H, Warrior's bad attitude trumps his, by far. Hell, even Hogan in his WCW days didn't refuse to sell anything. After all, what's the point of Hulking Up if you were never in danger to begin with?

Lita and I have the same birthday!! Different years, though...
I have the same birthday as Lita, too. And, if I remember correctly Kona Crush. Wooo!
I believe most of those are true. And yeah, Kurt is in his mid-30s. Which I don't think will hamper him in the slightest in the Olympics. From reading his biography, I get the impression that a wrestler doesn't really hit his world-class stride until his mid to late 20s. It's more about technique and conditioning than age.
Paul E probably seems older since he's been around FOREVER.
Most of what I read about Angle going back to the Olympics wasn't that he was too old to compete but that he was too old to get back into the training regimine necessary to get back to his peak performance level after so much time off. I remember Angle himself saying how training for amateur wrestling was much harder than training for professional wrestling, which is saying a lot since he obviously trains his ass off for the WWE.
I remember Angle going showing some of his training regimen during that "Before they were superstars" video and it looked brutal. He showed his desk calendars and they were completely full. For YEARS.

Yeah, I caught that. I'd prefer it was someone else, though, as they've already done a bunch of promos for CCC already. Give somebody else a chance to get some heel heat off Cena.
