Hogan seems neigh unto impossible to beat...
Oh...And Shawn Michaels offered to hit me. He OFFERED to hit me. He's like, "Hey...Can I hit you?"
Um...WHAT?!
So of course, I said "Yes". Then he hit me.
What the hell is up with that segment?
Since everyone else is doing it (ok, not EVERYONE, but...)
Vikings (2-7) - I don't know. I didn't see it. Just saw that we lost. Badgers (6-5) - Slipping into mediocrity six weeks in a row. Buffy 7.Uhh Whatever this last one was earns a 7.00000314159 because the begining was terrible, but the meat of the episode was hillarious. But filler. Just like most of Season One...Is this some kind of whacky time warp?

The same thing happened to me. I guess you were supposed to say no. Maybe then he would actually wrestle. The game does some weird storyline stuff. HHH returns and makes a big deal about entering the Royal Rumble, then at the Rumble, Benoit wins. Huh? Of course, everything makes WWE sense when Hogan beats Benoit to win the title shot. This game is too realistic dammit.

my favorite part of the game? removing the top turnbuckle pads! Its Little things like this that make a great game. Also im really digging the weapon moves. How 'bout that trash can? YEAH!
Also i've been using Brock in my season mode and he is quite the monster in this game. It took me one month to gain my title shot against the undertaker and all of about 3 minutes to destroy him. I love this game!
There's only one reason why my rommates and I play SD2 to this day and why we stopped playing SD3 after 2 weeks...multiplayer season. Can someone tell me if this feature is in SD4?

It's actually a turnbuckle move. And a fun one.

It isn't. I don't think that THQ realized that there'd be a demand for it, as Story mode is typically a Single player thing. Also, I imagine that the game might have some trouble keeping up with two concurrent storylines.

Want a really way to get cheap wins? Give yourself an anklelock as a ground move. If you keep slapping it on when you knock your opponent over, they get up limping, at which point you can take them down and slap it on again.
It's cheap, but it's fun. And effective.

Okay, so strangest/coolest/most surprising moment in the game for me so far. And its accompanied by a spoiler warning. If you don't want to be spoiled from saying "What the hell? Did I see that right?" don't read. Highlight between the lines to be spoiled, but i don't advise it, I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

Realism is all well and good, but damn if that was completely unexpected. I went for the movie, of course. Anyone do the opposite? ---------------------------------------- That is all
I just F5'd Goldust right off the Hell in a Cell. When Goldust hit the floor he bounced back up and flopped around like a fish out of water. It was hilarious! Now that was AWESOME!
I also liked seeing the nWo/Rock ambulance scene being played out in the game. It works much better with The Hurricane as the man who single handedly takes down the nWo, trust me. ^_^

My attempts to inject some Mattitude into WWE have met with... mixed success.
Just finished Survivor Series, helping my RAW team of Hardy, Benoit and The Rock defeat the SmackDown team of Chris Jericho, Booker T and Brock Lesnar. (Matt was actually eliminated first, but I interjected myself into the match several times after being eliminated to make certain that my team won).
Ric now owns the entire company, but the war ain't over yet! Vince has challenged Flair to a final confrontation, one that will determine the fate of the Undisputed Title as well... stay tuned!
On another memory card, I started a season with Booker T. I defeated The Big Show at Backlash to become #1 contender to the Undisputed Title, but for some reason the game ran the “Angle gets his head shaved” angle for me at Judgment Day, and no title shot. I defeated Angle, and then won King of the Ring in June-- wasn't easy. Between King of the Ring and Vengeance, the game tried to throw some drama into the mix when Eddie Guerrero (WHOO!) defeated The Undertaker to win the Undisputed Title.
The King was all, “Uh-oh, will Booker still get his shot at the Undisputed Title?” As a longtime WWE fan, of course, I knew that it was irrelevant who the champion was, since the King of the Ring would decide the #1 contender. Therefore, a shot at the belt is a shot at the belt, regardless of who the champion is.
Anyway... Undertaker apologized to me, and I came out and said, “Fine, I'll just have to beat Guerrero's ass instead of yours.” And I proceeded to do so at Vengeance.

I've made it to October 2003 in my season. At the start of Smackdown they showed Debra backstage standing by a black pickup truck with the Stone Cold logo on the side. Vince and Debra bought Stone Cold a present for being such a great guy. Then Stone Cold jumps into the bed and strikes a pose on the truck and shouts "I'm the king of the world!" with a voiceover.
Of course I then had the option to beat him with a pole or not. He wasn't feeling up to stealing Jericho's catchphrase after that. =D

I'm only a few months in, playing as Brock, and the RAW VS Smackdown fued just started up, leading to a big six-man tag main eventing Summerslam. The RAW side featured Steve Austin, The Undertaker and Booker T taking on the Smackdown team of... myself, Eddy Guerrero and.. Chuck. Okay. (We won anyway. Brock's bearhug is lethal, and I added the SSP to his moveset, so he's damn near unstopable.)
I'm at a similar point. I took the Undisputed Championship at Vengeance (after steamrolling Tazz to win King of the Ring). Originally, Taker had lost the belt to Jericho, but Jericho lost to Rhyno during a Smackdown taping, so the main event of Vengeance was my CAW (Drow) vs. Rhyno. Rhyno countered my attempted Brainbuster DDT finisher, but I nailed him with a Sharpshooter for the win.
Currently, I'm feuding with Flair (He got me to appear on RAW, where I promptly punked him out after my first match against IC Champ RVD). The next week, he books me into a triple threat against Lesnar and Austin, which I barely won via my Anklelock finisher. After the match, I'm getting beat down by the RAW guys, when the Rock (my Smackdown BROTHER!) runs out to make the save, setting up a tag match for Summerslam. It looks like the main event will be Drow and Rock vs. Brock and Austin. Now just TRY to tell me you wouldn't tune in for that!
BTW, anyone know which moveset contains the Osaka Street Cutter?
I agree. I miss the good ol' days on Heat, being managed by Stacy Keibler.
I've gotta say, they nailed this game. It mixes the best elements of the past three games -- the not having to sit through other people's matches of the first (god, I hated the dueling power meters in KYR), the story mode of the 2nd, and the gameplay of the third. My lone criticism is that Shane O'Mac isn't a premade character in this one. I want my Skippy The Giant Slayer!
After going through Season Mode once as Brock Lesnar (two-time undisputed champion and tag champ w/ Buh Buh Ray Dudley at the end of the season, but losing the title to Hogan at WrestleMania) I've created my own character, teamed him with Reverend D-Von as "The Church of D-Von" and started out on Sunday Night H6at.
For two months, I feuded with Hurricane and then with Rey Mysterio (created after I unlocked his stuff with Brock) over the cruiserweight title. I won the title in my first attempt from Rey in the 5th week of May 2002. After I won the title, Vince decided I was good enough to be moved to SmackDown!, and there I am now, cruiserweight champion and about to wrestle on the good show
So far, I've made CAWs for Rey, Chavo, Scott Hall and Scott Steiner. Later I'll be making Three Minute Warning and a new Kane.
