Is it unrealistic to think that he could or will dominate WWE?

I mean. Is his back gonna give out? Or something?

After that pop, I think Vince fell in love. They gotta push him to the moon right now because who knows how long before he falls apart.

There's all sorts of muscleman matchups no matter where he goes. Steiner/Batista, Steiner/HHH, Steiner/Lesnar, Steiner/Cena. So no matter where he goes it ought to be interesting. I think he might be better on SD! if only for it being easier to edit it out if he swears unplannedly. Admittedly, unplannedly isn't a word but I sure like the sound of it.

I'm really happy with Steiner in the WWE. I was never a WCW fan, and I've probably seen more Essa Rios matches than I have Scott Steiner matches, but just from what I've seen I think he'll be impressive. The General Public knows that he can kick ass. I was watching SS tonight with a few people that barely watch wrestling, and THEY know Big Poppa Pump can kick ass. From what I've read on here, I guess I should be waiting for his Promos though. :)

If Triple H really is injured, then I think WWE has no choice but to immediately shoot Steiner into the main event while SOMEBODY ELSE gets built up as a credible heel challenger.

Of course, the problem with that is, you've essentially got two cripples headlining Armageddon.

On another note, I marked out for Steiner's return, but the smark in me asks "Was it REALLY the best move to bury Matt Hardy and Christopher Nowinski AGAIN?!" I mean JEEZ! Why is it that anytime a midcard heel is starting to get over, he has to be buried and made to look totally useless the way Matt Hardy has?

Playing devil's advocate:

I believe WWE is doing a “heat test” with Nowinski and Hardy, checking to see if their heat will be significantly lowered if they do a few jobs and are punked out a few times. If their overness continues to be high, then they'll have paid their dues and theoretically start getting pushed up the card.

Theoretically. Then again, this is WWE, and Vince's big-man fetish has been well-documented.

You think that was good, check out his interview on wwe.com.

I had tears in my eyes reading it, I was laughing so hard.

He is the best interview. I remember a couple of years back, someone at wrestleline.com asked him, "Why does Fred Flintstone keep ordering those brontosaurus ribs, when they tip over his car every time?" His answer-"That son of a bitch must be hungry."

WWE.com: Do you have a preference between RAW and SmackDown!?

Steiner: Not really. Eric runs one, and I think Stephanie (McMahon) runs the other one, right? Well, I never took directions well. Probably the only direction I ever take from women is when they say, “Faster! Faster!” and, “Harder! Harder!” and, “Don’t stop! Don’t stop!”

Priceless.

Just priceless. There is nothing better than Steiner doing a shoot interview. I can't wait to see him shoot on someone in the ring.

Well, I think I manged to find it--on a Swedish website of all places. You'll have to scroll about 1/3 down until you see www.wrestleline.com in red. I hope this is the one you mean. http://www.angelfire.com/al/sebbe/wTASS23.html
Watch out for pop-ups, though.

If Steiner ever has a feud with Angle, that could be the funniest feud ever.

And if you scroll down that page about another 3rd to where it says Ruuds hörna! in a white headline, it gives the smart mark glossary of wrestling terms in Swedish! Who knew WV could be fun and educational?

Well, if people complained about Benoit and Angle's multiple german suplexes on each other, what are they gonna say about Angle and Scott trading belly to bellys and go-behinds?

Well it looks like Steiner's first feud will be with Y2J. I liked Steiner's promo as well as Y2J interrupting him.

Don't be too sure. I predict a similar state of affairs on SD. With who? Hmmmm

Angle needs to blow off his feud with Benoit, so I see that building for awhile. But Angle would be gold.

Rey, even though busy being tag champ, would be my thought. But I hope for Angle.

I predict that Steiner doesn't "sign" for several more weeks.

I don't get this argument. By having it cost slightly more to see the show live, you know that those in attendance are going to be more rabid fans who enjoy the live product. As long as the arena is filled, it is good for the product.
