I'm more upset about Triple H *jobbing* the title to HBK than the Big Show beating Brock. What is the point of HBK going over? HBK's time has come and gone. "The New Generation" as they were called are still ruling the roost and that is just plain wrong. It's a shame, it's sad and it's really too bad that a roster so talented has to be held down by The Clique.
It's so WCW at this point. They don't listen to their fans so all we can do is just watch the ship sink. You'd think a 3.1 would be a wake up call. Well it looks like they woke up and found the answer - MORE HUNTER AND SHAWN!
The clique? Scott Hall and Waltman were behind this??? I should have known! Damn you clique! Damn you to hell!!!
Get over it guys. HBK won. I can dig it. I don't think he can defend his title on a regular basis, though. I'm wondering how they do this. I'm thinking he vacates the title tomorrow or hotshots it to someone else. But seriously, be happy tonight. HBK won the big one in MSG.
Wait and see what happens. If 1 or 2 months down the line, they're still having HHH and HBK feuding over the title belt, then yeah, I suppose you can say that. However, the PPV's only been over for a little over an hour - calm down. :)
Yeah, Shawn's gonna job the title to Booker or RVD or Jericho. You're right, that's probably what's gonna happen. Something productive will come out of this. I'm sure it will.

Right, just keep repeating to yourself... "It's only a movie! It's only a movie! It's only a movie!..."
It is called a "transitional champ". They didn't want to Job HHH to Booker or RVD, so give it to a person who can't be on Raw every week long-term, and when they lose it won't matter.
January 4th 1999 - The day WCW injected itself with 10 gallons of Liquid Anthrax...AKA...The day Hogan "Defeated" Nash to win the WCW title in front of 40,000.

Wait until he comes back from the ankle surgery.
I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said.

And that's exactly the problem on Raw. They won't job HHH (or HHH refuses to job, 1 or the other), so nobody else gets elevated. And then when somebody beats HBK for the title, "it won't matter".
Although, I'd lay good money that HHH just wins the belt back, anyway (pending the utcome of his injury). Booker is over, RVD is over, Jericho is over & busted ass in the match, and each would make good Raw Champs, but they keep waiting & waiting & waiting until it's too late.

Jesus would you give them a chance?! We've had a new champ for all of 12 hours and his reigns already deemed a failure. Frankly right now it was the best person for Trips to drop the belt to last night. Kanes not exactly over, Jericho just had a long (and pretty unimpressive run), Booker needs a couple of ppv wins before going over, and RVD still doesnt look after his opponents well enough in the ring as we saw last night.
Maybe HBK's runs gonna be no better than the hogan nostalgia trip, I don't know. But do we really have to be so cynical that we condemn every new story before it's even played out these days?

I've been giving them a chance since oh, 1985 when it looked they were going to push Steamboat hard. And ever since then it's been back and forth.
