Watch the show before you judge...plain and simple. I think the title change was very well done, adds plenty to the story, and works very well for both parties. Like I said, watch the show...then judge....plain and simple.
//Edit Furthermore, if you want to judge a 3 hour PPV on the result of a 10 minute match...be my guest. You're going to miss out on what (IMHO) has been the WWE's best show in months!!!

Perhaps I can just give up on WWE now. How could they have Lesnar (an undefeated monster) drop the belt to the Big Show?
Show has been jobbing to everyone on the roster the last year or two. Doesn't it completely ruin Lesnar's credibility having him lose to someone like this?
I'd be pissed right now if I ordered this show or gave a damn anymore. Maybe the Elimination Chamber will make up for it but I doubt it now the HHH has publicly said that he is God.
I'm really really close to losing it with the next person who criticises this show without seeing it. So please, pretty please with a fucking cherry on top, SHUT UP.

I agree! I've enjoyed the show so far and the best is yet to come. The Lesnar/Big Show match was as entertaining as it could be considering. That doesn't mean that I'm not annoyed at having Big Show hyped for at least another month on SmackDown followed by another WWE Championship match with the Big Show at the next PPV.
I'll agree entirely about the Big Show. But, as I said, the match was booked in the best possible way for both parties. The good thing about having the Big Show for another month is that we now get another month of Heyman. I'll take some heat for this one...But I love Heyman...or rather, I love to hate the little worm!

I'm not criticizing the show, I'm just criticizing the fact the The Big Show is the WWE champion.
At least the put the Dudley Boyz back together although they never really should have broken them up to begin with. And now what will ever happen to the great team of Faarooq and D-Von??

What happened to the OTHER tag match with Storm & Regal? There is no way in hell it could be happening this late into the PPV, I hope.

That match was on Heat with Regal/Storm winning.

...and now it goes back into the crapper(well... ALMOST!) with the cripple coming out and beating up poor Mattitude and Chris GuyWitShitOnHisFace-inski.
I know for a fact that up to 2 weeks ago, Steiner could NOT stand on his own for more then 10 minutes at a time (Thanks 'DP', You know who you are...) without having to sit back down again for 30 minutes.
This is what you get on our tvs in place of Mike Awesome and Shawn Stasiak! What a freakin' waste of cash and air time!!!
....this all from the guy that still hasn't seen the show. If he had, he would have been happy as hell to see someone put an end to the diatribe being given to us by Chris and Matt....

From the desk of Swordsman Yen I'm with angrycheesehead here. Before everybody who hasn't seen the show proclaims the Big Show winning the belt the first sign of the apacolypse, watch the match. I saw The Big Show finally get the monster heel persona he should've had all this time, and Brock looked awesome even in defeat. I think we have plenty of great buildup ahead for the rematch.

Cowboys 3-6-0. Can't lose on a bye week, thank goodness.
Spurs 5-2. Still looks good, brain fart vs. Portland aside.

Excuse me for not liking a cripple guy who'll be sitting at home collecting free pay checks within 3 months and a big slow guy who used to mow Greg Valentine's yard about 15 years ago, 2 blocks away from where I used to live in Clearwater Florida; but as it stands now, I don't see this PPV giving them the ratings spike they desperately are looking for tomorrow night.
Well, I suddenly think it'll happen now. Phase One is complete. On to the tournament of rulingness!
Why do I watch? Because every episode has the potential to be the best one ever, and I'll be DAMNED if I'm gonna miss that one after sitting through this shit.
Actually, the last time I flat out refused to watch Raw or ANY wrestling for a week, I missed Eric Bischoff coming out on raw; so I won't be missing anything for a long while... But it'll still probably suck with a so called born again christian being the mouth piece of the moment. First time he decides to thank goD for his win, I'm hitting pause, reminding him (through the tv...) that his wife was a stripper when they met, and fast forwarding the damn thing.
You know, I'm as far from Christian as possible, but why would that matter? Get over yourself pal, and try and enjoy something not only new but apparently entertaining to a great many people so far.
Treasure Planet kicked all kinds of ass. Do yourself a favor and check it out when it comes to a theater near you.
The way they had Big Show win was perfectly decent. The buildup to it was perfect (in retrospect) - remember, all Heyman said was "my client" - and failed to mention he had signed someone new.
Everything worked (except for Booker leaving so early in the Elimination Chamber ....grrrr). What's not to mind?
Stupid decisions do not necessarily ruin a show. I still don't see why the WWE has to ejaculate with its pants on every time they're in MSG. It's just a building. Now for Big Show to be ass-banged like he was tonight is fine, if they were going to keep the title on Brock. But for Big Show to made into Brock's bitch on SD, and again tonight, and then to win anyway, makes Big Show look like crap and makes the title look like crap. If Steve Austin could have the title last summer and not defend it for well over a month, so can Brock. I loved the show and this was a bad decision.
The chamber was again, a clusterfuck of dumb decisions. I loved how Jericho looked, and I think RVD went out because he hurt himself, but fact remains the crowd crapped on RVD leaving so early. Then they crapped on Booker T being beat. I loved how strong Jericho looked, but he didn't win. Kane looked like an idiot when he had 3 guys beat and somehow couldn't think to pin a single one of them. Then the guy who wins is not even in shape (smaller than in '96) and is not going on the road and is probably only going to job the belt back to Trips. This is too predictable. Great match, awesome card, had fun, but it doesn't set up ANYTHING I didn't see coming weeks ago.

Not to interrupt this novel but this is a VERY early estimate of the buyrate. As we have seen in the past (Bad Blood last year for example), the final number often comes in WAY different and often much higher then anticipated.
