Not that I'm looking past tomorrow(or later today, whatever), but I've *already* got some ideas for next month's PPV. On the Smackdown side of things:
Los Guerreros vs. Edge/Rey for the WWE Tag Team Championships. This also means that either Edge and Rey retain on Sunday, or Chavo and Eddy get the *big* win that they need. Angle and Benoit won the belts. Edge and Rey put on a classic match and won the belts. Now it's Los Loco Guerreros' turn. Rey's got knee problems, so keep him in tag action where he's not doing all of the work.
Angle vs. Benoit Iron Man Match. Simply put, this match *has* to happen to blow the feud off, for now. No one knows *when* Angle's planning on leaving for the Olympics, or even if he's decided to take that path. If this feud gets blown off, look for Angle(if he stays) to gear up for Brock.
Brock vs. ? for the WWE Championship. I'm just not sure who they're gonna sacrifice as Brock's opponent, with Edge still in the tag match. My guess is they *could* do a 3 way or 4 way match, with Brock defending against BigShow, Taker, and perhaps Rhyno. Brock vs. Taker vs Show would be an ok match, and it could lead to Taker vs. Show after Brock retains, which is a feud that's been going since mid-'99.
Kidman vs. Noble vs. for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Yes, I know this match is this Sunday, but Kidman doesn't have Torrie in his corner yet. Put her in his corner for a month, he'll get over like crazy(her beauty plus his high flying innovative offense), and *then* he'll take the title from Noble. Torrie cancels Nidia out, which leaves Kidman to really take it to Noble.
Booker T vs. Scott Steiner for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Another match that has to happen. If Booker T doesn't win, then RVD will. They're the two most popular by far. Booker T/Steiner/Jericho/RVD could be to Raw what the Smackdown 6(Edge/Rey/Angle/Benoit/Chavo/Eddy) are to Smackdown. So if Booker T wins, then he faces either Steiner or Jericho. My money's on Jericho, since they have issues. If RVD wins, then let Steiner take him on and give us a new match-up. So we could possibly have RVD/Steiner, Booker/Steiner, or Booker/Jericho. RVD vs. Jericho would be fun, but they don't really have *that* many issues.
TripleH vs. HBK Another match that has to happen again, and these two can feud all the way until WM when they settle it once and for all. No titles on the line, just these two beating the hell out of each other and having fun doing it.
Not sure what to do about the Women's Title or the World Tag Titles. I'm guessing and hoping that Jericho and Christian lose the belts on Raw the night after SS. To who, I have no idea. Hell, at this point give the belts to Spike and Bubba. Then have them keep their feud going with 3 Minute Warning. As for the Women's Belt, maybe have a 4 way with Trish, Victoria, Molly, and Jazz. That'd be fun. And that's all I got.
I *hope hope hope hope hope* that your prediction about the Armageddon Iron Man Match between Angle and Benoit comes to fruition.. because I plan on getting as close to ringside as possible at Armageddon, since it's a scant two hour drive from where I am and I've never been to a pay-per-view.
Although, to be honest, I'm torn between going to Armageddon or the Smackdown a couple days later in Tampa. But hell, I'll probably end up going to both. :)
Rey's having his knee scoped in early December and will be out a few weeks, so I doubt he'll be able to compete at the show. Eddie & Chavo Vs. Matt Hardy & John Cena coul be a very viable alternative. Aside from that I like your plans, although the Benoit/Angle Iron Man match has been done before. And the World Tag Titles? Easy, turn Jericho and Christian face and pit them against the Three Minute Warning.
Nobody really knows when Rey is getting his knee scoped, but I'm guessing this match at SS will be his last for a bit. *But*, I read somewhere that he should only be out like 2 weeks. Same with Angle. And being "out" doesn't mean that they can't be at the show. It just means they can't be active. Angle and Benoit haven't had an Iron Match before. They had the Ulitimate Submission match, but that was just a preview. They go 60 minutes, then Angle moves on to Brock. And why would you turn Jericho and Christian face after all this time? You spend a *year* building up Jericho as a top card heel, and then turn him face? No dice, Rocco. I say he and Christian drop the titles on Raw to the Nu Dudleys. Dudleys win, 3MW attack, and you've got your tag feud. Also, concerning Eddy/Chavo, why have them face Matt and Cena? That's 2 heel teams against each other. Can't have that now, can we? And it's not like Matt needs to be a tag champ again, anyway.
I would hardly say that Jericho's been built up for the last year as a main event rulebreaker-through numerous losses and being made to look like a total tool, his topline heel status has been totally pissed away over the past six months. It's time for a total rebuilding process, reinventing his current character as a good guy and dragging the stale-as-all-Hell Christian along for the ride. Both guys have cred now and Raw could use two upper-card, over faces, and both men can do the cocky babyface act with room to spare. Benoit and Angle going an hour in a mid-card match would totally wear the crowd out and leave them silent for the rest of show, and possibly a large percentage of the aforementioned sixty minutes-check Backlash 2K1 and see the effect that had. That is incredibly bad business. And if you look at the past two months of programming, SmackDown has been more than happy to book heels vs. heels and let the characters grow into the good and bad roles. Witness the Angle/Benoit/Guerreros feud, or the Brock/Show rivalry. I'm actually suggesting some fresher ideas rather than simply following the current logic, and that's what needs to be done right now. Sorry if you don't see the sense in it.
Oh, and Rey's surgery is scheduled for Dec. 5th, ten days before Armaggedon. I doubt he'll be in tip-top condition for the show, and I wouldn't risk further injury by rushing him back so soon.

I was in the post office today, mailing a fellow wrestling buddy his Christmas gift. The office had CNN playing on a TV for those lined up. CNN interviewed Mick Foley about the SmackDown tour in the Middle East at about 11:40 today (Tuesday, Dec. 21).
