And what a great CD this is! The track listing is at www.wweanthology.com

There's really swank remixes of Triple H's and Kurt Angle's themes. There's also a new Rock theme with more of the focus on the drums and guitar. Disk One has got the Shawn Michaels farewell song "Tell Me a Lie" that I've loved ever since I first heard it so long ago, not to mention Ted Dibiase's theme. Let's not forget "The End is Here" either. It's even got Jericho's new "King of the World" theme. This is probably the best WWE CD yet.

Edit: I forgot to mention William Regal's "Real Man's Man" theme. How could you not buy this CD? ^_^;;

It rules and all, but I wouldn't mention Jericho's new song as a selling point...

I can't believe someone actually liked this CD. I was going to buy it but thank God I went to the website and saw the songlist. How can you have 60 songs on a CD and it suck that bad?

I mean no Demolition, no Jive Soul Bro, crappy remixes of good originals. They got Bertha Freakin' Faye's theme song on there but not Waylon Mercy, or Bradshaw (His first run as crazy Texas cowboy back in 96) first theme. They need to leave songs alone, Jericho's music was fine this new music is horrible. The same with Kane, The Rock and Test.

I will pass on this abhorration and wait two weeks. Then I will go to the Internet and download for free the only four songs I really want (but dont already have on some other WWF CD) on the entire 60 song album. "Eye of Hurricane", "At Last", "Pink Cadillac" and the Owen Hart theme.

There are songs I wish had been left off the album and vice versa. But There have been over 500 different original entrance themes used by the WWF/E since 1985.

You had to figure something wouldn't make the cut and someone was going to get miffed.

Oh well, at least now I can dance around to "Sexy Boy" in my underwear!

Well, there's some nice songs on it and all, but i have most of the good ones on my computer already so I don't really feel the need to buy it.

I was looking at the list of songs though, and I thought that the third disc looked a lot weaker than the first two.

And it was the Patroit's theme originally, and I doubt it was called "Medal" then, so that's the third time the name of the song has changed.

Well, I'm pretty damned happy with it. The thing is, they're trying to keep it limited to James Johnson music - meaning very little Jimmy Hart material. Only "Real American" and the Million Dollar Man theme made the cut.

Aside from that, there was an appropriate mix of camp and classic tunes. Sure, some Internet fans won't be happy with it, but, well, some Internet fans hate everything, so don't worry about that. (And *Harvey Whippleman* sings Bertha Faye's music. It's so hilariously bad, in retrospect, that I wouldn't have been able to keep it off either.)

And, I never noticed it before, but the Los Boricuas theme kicks at least seven different kinds of ass.

"Medal" was the typical Kurt Angle music - the one he used initially and the one he's using now. "I Don't Suck" is the one with the kicked-up drums that he used when they were trying to get him over as a legit threat rather than just a goof. There's not a world of difference, but as a stand-alone song, the latter is better.

From the desk of Swordsman Yen
Themes I would've loved to see on there...

- Mr. Perfect
- Demolition
- Slick (Jive Soul Bro)
- Dusty Rhodes (American Dream)
- Rick Rude

For a good laugh, I would've also loved to see HHH's first theme with the sissy harpsichord music on the Anthology CD as well.

I'm glad they left some out. Hopefully that means they might do an Anthology II if this does really well. Now if I could only find Piledriver and WrestleMania on CD...

I went to Best Buy and picked it up yesterday for $18.99 plus tax, which was mildly incredible. It is a ball rolling downhill, starting with Real American and getting less impressive as you keep into it, though I had two thoughts when listening to the first disc:

(Note: This is for OFB :-) )

1. You can't listen to "Real American" without thinking of John Ashcroft.

2. You can't listen to "It's All About the Money" without thinking of the Clintons.

That song they used for Summerslam, "Fight" is alright.

I also like "The End is Here." from Judgement Day, and Armageddon.

Word of advice, don't get Anthology at Coconuts.

Has to be a Reigns vs Ambrose final but Owens will look great in defeat in the semis. In the final, Reigns wins which then leads to 1 of 2 outcomes.
