That WAS a cool song for Junkyard Dog, man that goes way back (back to his Greg Valentine feud, at least).
The Varsity Club had one of the coolest themes in the NWA. I believe it is called "Horray For Mr. Touchdown." And how can you forget the other great Queen entry song, "We Will Rock You", used effectively by Rick Rude and Manny Fernandez.

Triple"My Time" and "The Game" since they just both kick ass!

CHRISTIAN!!! CHRISTIAN!!! AT LAST YOUR ON YOUR OWWWWWNNNN!!!
Mattitude(ma't-e-toodeh'): Mattitude, is something that can not be taught or learned. Mattitude is something that burns within. In the ring, Mattitude is the intangible, the x-factor, that gives Matt Hardy Ver.1 an advantage over everyone else.
-Hakushi -Taka Michinoku -Christian -Razor Ramon -Eddy Guerrero's WCW theme -UT's First Theme -Brawl for All Theme (Used shortly by Bart Gunn) -Marvelous Marc Mero's (The one when he came back with the boxer gimmick.)
I can't believe I did not remember some old school themes! Talk of We Will Rock You and Another One Bites The Dust has jogged my head with a few more.
Back in WCCW, the Von Erics' music ruled all! Kevin came out to Nugent's "Stranglehold", which when the opening riff hit, all the 14 year old girls screemed louder than any Hardy has ever seen. And of course, Kerry used "Tom Sawyer" from Rush, which was of course, because Kerry was refered to as the "Modern Day Warrior".
Ricky Steamboat using the Alan Parsons Project fit him PERFECTLY in his initial WWF run. And of course, Savage and "Pomp and Circumstance" was just AWESOME. Getting to hear that puppy 4 times at WMIV was fantastic, as well as the four different matching wardrobes that he and Liz had.
"So this is the Pacific Northwest, huh? What a dump," said Angle, "Why do we have to come to Seattle? If it wasn't for Kurt Cobain and 'Frasier,' nobody outside this rain forest would even know who you people are."
I was once informed by someone with even more free time than I have that when you play Disco's theme backwards, it sounds as if the singers are saying "I need poo-say, I need poo-say, ooooh, poo-say!!"

Actually, the name of the song is "Tattoo" by Big Mother Thruster.
Anyway, my favorite themes in no particular order are: -Hogan's "Real American" -HHH's "The Game" -the nWo themes, both the porno and Wolfpack versions -Goldberg's theme -Sting's Crow theme -Ultimate Warrior's WWF theme
Randy Savage and Ricky Steamboats were good. I love Honky's and Jive Soul Bro as well. My all time favorite was Mr. Perfect's. I used to listen to that theme before I went out to compete to get me in the mood. Good good stuff.
The ECW song that I just loved was Simon Diamonds "Simon Says" from Drain STH. One of the best "real" song used by a wrestler... I still love and want to hear Hulk Hogan come out to "Voodoo Child".
I always liked Eddy's music in WCW too. Chavo was (or still maybe still is?) using it in WWE.
Another great theme was the ECW on TNN intro music. I remember hearing it on the first ECW on TNN (which was the first time I saw ECW) and thinking it rocked!
I think it was the Steiners that came out to Welcome To The Jungle in the NWA and that was cool. I still find myself humming the Samoan Swat Team theme from the NWA as well (although I can't remember if it was the theme from Halloween or not). I also dug "Badstreet USA" by the Freebirds as well. As for WWF themes--I'll try to pick one from each era. Federation--Demolition's theme. Attitude--The Nation theme song (the one where there was the main theme and then every member had their variation on the theme, from about May or June 1998 or so). Steve Blackman's first theme (not the one with all the drums) was good too. I believe it cane be heard at Unforgiven 98 and Rock Bottom 98 as well. Now--Batista's sounds like a video game to me which is always cool. I also dig Billy Kidman's theme (although I've seen several people saying his WCW one was better--I can't dispute that since I've never heard it).
I always enjoyed Cactus Jack's entrance, both the WWF version and ECW "Born to be Wild." I also love Hogan's "Voodoo Chile"(especially when he sings along an does the chop) and "Real American" for no apparent reason.
In 2 more instances of real music used well...When HHH used to come out to "Ode To Joy" (Beethoven's 9th Symphony), that was always great for me. He only used it one time but the music UT used at WMXIV was awesome. I remember reading somewhere it was from a movie but not sure which one. Legend? In any event, I know Paul Wylie skated to it at least once. Also, I seem to remember the Orient Express theme song being good. I'd also like to show love for Owen hart's theme after he turned on Bret and before he joined the Hart Foundation.

Jive soul bro
Well I met this lady and I told her quite a story, said I'd love her forever more. But the trouble is I tell the same old story to every girl that walks through the door. This is the Slickster talkin' at cha honey, yeah!
Well first they love me and then they don't, sometime they do it and some time they won't. So I said to this girl "Hey you, get out!" and she got to her feet and began to shout: "You're A Jive Soul Bro, a Jive Soul bro, and you're always lying to your friends. You're a Jive Soul bro, a Jive Soul bro, and you never get nothin in the end." What cho talkin bout lady? This is the Slickster talkin to ya, I don't do nuthin but tell the truth, hehehehe.
Well, I thought this dude might learn a lesson, but I didn't learn a thing at all. Why late last night I was out messing with a lady that was SEVEN feet tall. Now that was a BIG woman!
So I said "Hey baby, spend a night at my house." She said "No way, you jive yo mouth!" I said "Hey there baby, can't take no more!" so she threw me on the floor in the figure-four singin' "Jive Soul bro, a Jive Soul bro and you're always lyin' to your friends. You're a Jive Soul bro, a Jive Soul bro and you never get nuthin in the end." Chorus: Jive Soul broooooo Hey, wait a minute everybody! Jive Soul broooooo I ain't no jive soul bro! Jive Soul broooooo Jive Soul broooooo Now come on band and break it down for the Slickster.
Band: Sooner or later you'll see the light, you've got to stop Jivin for the women at night. If we catch you lyin we got to go, we'll sing this song and will for sure. You're a Jive Soul bro, a Jive Soul bro and you're always lying to your friends. You're a Jive Soul bro, a Jive Soul bro, and you'll never get nuthin in the end. x2
Chorus: Jive soul brooooooo No, no no y'all, this is the Slickster talkin to ya! Jive soul brooooooo That's right, i'm leannnnnn and i'm meannnnnn and my pocket's full of greeeeeeeeeeen, yeah. Jive soul brooooooo Hey, I'm the "Ladies pick" Jive soul brooooooo And I'm even the "Fella's pick" Jive soul brooooooo And rememba everybody Jive soul brooooooo My motto is Jive soul boooooooo Honesty is the best policy hahaha! yeah!
at least give me credit for all that hard typing i did!
my favs
TAKA's music Demoliton D'lo's post nation, pre lo-down music HHH's game, and my time music Goldust LOD 2000's music
Wrestling has been rhyming with ass. I miss shows and it makes me all shades of ambivalence. WWE is starting to suck again. The crops? Jeezum Spice! Someone stole my crops. What in the ham fat is going on. That's just poo-doo! That's just my 2.4856 Yen.
I have always liked the Rocker's theme. Sting's theme at Starrcade 97 was really cool. I remember having chills when that hit. For no reason, the Goon's rocked too!!!!! Nothing like some good sports organ music to get things goin

The way it worked in Seattle this year was that I got an email that WM19 was coming. The first one was in September which gave me info on when tickets were going on sale and when the presale was.
