The Seattle Seahawks have signed Jeff George to a 1 year deal at the league minimum. Pro-rated, the contract will cost the Seahawks $400,000 for the remaining 9 games of the season.

as a skins fan that had to watch George play, alls i got to say is...

i'll be waiting until the game is done and he's thrown 5 picks and the musics hits and we hear, "Mission Accomplished"

boy howdy did he suck here in DC...

I missed Raw, but I heard it rhymed with ass. I missed Smackdown too. It made me all shades of ambivalence. WWE is starting to suck again. The crops?

It's been eagerly awaited here. You wouldn't believe the venom still directed his way for having left Green Bay. People still think that he threw the Super Bowl against Denver (I'm not one of them, though - the better team won that day).

Wouldn't it more accurately be the place where dead QBs go to continue their careers? And the Death Watch is pretty much underway I'd say.

I dunno...it was more of a smart-ass remark than anything...he did have a nice run as the Bronco's backup though. Desmond Howard played for the foreskins???? I do not remember that at all.

EDIT:(10 seconds later) I don't know if I'd say he improved...the only thing he has been good at his entire NFL career is a kick returner

I think thats because he's a shitty wideout who can't get open. His tenure with the raiders/lions/packers etc. proves this.

Seattle isn't the QB cemetery (altho it's close), it's actually the COACHING graveyard.

Tom Flores
Dennis Erickson (He was lucky to get fired and end up at OSU)
Mike Holmgren (Need we say more?)

The only coach to have any success was Chuck Knox, but he ran out of steam and we've been snakebit ever since.

ESPN.com's Page 2 Tuesday Morning Quarterback said this week that Holmy is like 26-31 in his fourth year, while Erickson was fired for going 31-33 in his 4 years.

Sucks to be me sometimes, and don't get me started on the UK/LSU game from this week . . .
