BELIEVE it or not, pop princess Jewel is turning to hip-hop. The Alaska native has been working in the studio with Jeff Townes, better known to '80s music aficionados as "DJ Jazzy Jeff." Jewel was also seen in Philadelphia earlier this month working with urban producer P-Nut. Ron Shapiro, co-president of Atlantic Records, said, "Jewel is writing songs for what will be a new album in 2003. She is meeting with many people and trying out interesting co-writers at the suggestion of her music publisher."
I would say that this is the worst idea ever, but it just might turn out to be so horrible that it is extremely entertaining. Is there anyone in the music industry who is whiter than Jewel?
It's like a koala bear crapped a rainbow in my brain!
With poison running through your veins, and death marching solemnly towards you, heroic acts become more of a necessity as you see your time dwindling.
Vanquishing your enemies, making amends to those you have wronged, and leaving words of love and kindness for those around you become second nature as your own mortality looms
However, true strength lies not in these last desperate acts, but in the actions of one who has to get out of bed the next day and face the consequences of doing that which you believe is right.
