Anybody want to lay down bets on when HHH will actually drop the strap (if he ever does)?

I think I'll say Royal Rumble.

After backfired Flair interference, getting hit with his own sledgehammer, getting superkicked by Michaels, Van Daminated by RVD, and chokeslammed by Kane, he'll probably drop the belt at the Rumble.

I think he drops it at the December throw away PPV, thus allowing extra time off for him around the holidays. Then, at Royal Rumble, he pulls off winning the belt near his hometown routine.

I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said.

You guys kidding? I'm starting to think that when Triple H's opponents are talking to road agents backstage, the road agent is like, “I don't care if that son of a bitch has a heart attack and dies right in the middle of that ring... you will roll him on top of you.” Ha!

Seriously, though? Hmmm... Backlash. If he lasts 'til WrestleMania, no way he's jobbing there, so I'll say Backlash.

If the Royal Rumble is the line, I'll take the under on HHH and the over on Brock. There's no way they'll have him drop the strap before Wrestlemania. I'll bet a package of hot dogs on it!

Either Survivor Series or Armageddon (December Pay-Per-View.)

Michaels will cost HHH the match, leading to a possible match at Royal Rumble.

Of course all this happens after he had been shot 6 times by a enraged fan.

Gotta agree with you. I think he'll lose it to Kane at Survivor Series as HBK smashes his spine with the sledge. They're building it up already.

I'll love it, too.

Well, my heart still tells me that we end up with some sort of winner take all match at some point in the future where HHH hands the indomitable Lesnar his first ever pinfall loss. Though the talk of Lewis/Lesnar, no matter how vague seems to throw a possible monkey wrench in this. I'm gonna say that we get a LONNNNG HHH title reign, possibly up until KOTR, with maybe a one day switch at some point just to drum up interest. So what the heck...KOTR 2003, when he drops the strap to Edge. Don't ask me how, just accept it ;)

After much hype about the "Screw jobs that happen every year at Survivor Series", the man involved in the most famous one of all strikes again. Michaels interferes, causing Triple H to lose the belt. The have a feud that ends at the Royal Rumble.

MEANWHILE....

Kane is the RAW champ, just in time to be dismantled by one Big Poppa Pump. Steiner goes on a tear where he does his thing going through everyone, but there's one man in particular he's out after.

MEANWHILE....

Booker T remains allied with Golddust. However during a tag match, Booker is attacked Steiner. The reason? Revenge for beating him on the very last Nitro. They feud.

MEANWHILE....

Chris Jericho and RVD go at it in an un-real feud that goes for the same length as Triple H/Michaels. After both are finished, Jericho faces Michaels (if he's up for it), and RVD faces Triple H (and finally goes over clean).

I say HHH gets injured before he ever has to drop the belt and forfeits it. Whenever he loses the title it's gonna be the winkwinknudgenudge way anyways. I say he drops it to NASH at SummerSlam 2003.

I'll dare to be different here and say he loses it at No Way Out then regains it the next night at RAW--just to work the smarks into thinking the WrestleMania main event (whatever it is by that point) won't have HHH in it. That way he can laugh even more when he inevitably wins it back.

I normally do like HHH, and i love Michaels, but your post made me shudder. For some reason, I can see at some point in the future HHH getting his win back over HBK, and HBK coming back out and saying he couldnt beat Hunter this time, but he knows he would, and have HBK introduce Nash as the man who will beat (and does) beat HHH for the belt. *shudder* If this does happen you all have permission to come to my house and hit me. I'll provide the food.

This isn't a half-bad setup, even though the thought of Scott Steiner back near the main event level gives me the creeps.

I agree. It could either be the December PPV or No Way Out in 2003, but he'll get it right back at the Rumble or WM.

Backlash PPV 2003. HHH lays down for no one.

I'll go ahead and say he holds it till Armageddon.

Then after hitting the Pedigree on Jesus, no selling the vials of wrath, standing in the middle of the pile of rubble that used to be the earth and telling all 144,000 saints up on mount Zion to kiss his ass, HHH accuses God Himself of sleeping with the corpse of Abraham

Top 3 times HHH could lose the belt, in order of how likely they are:

1. Armageddon '02 (or whatever Dec. PPV is)
2. Wrestlemania 19
3. No Way Out '03

And if he loses it at #1 or #3, he'll get it back either at the next PPV (in the case of Armageddon) or the Raw the following night (in the case of No Way Out).

I don't see him losing in the chamber match this month. WWE/F has a habit of keeping the belt on guys in big clusterfuck matches like this. But just for the hell of it, let's look a the guys in the match:

1. Booker T - For some reason the office seems to hate him, so no.
2. RVD - Same as Booker T.
3. Jericho = AHAHAHAHAH no. The least likely person to win the match.
4. Kane - I'd like to see him or the next guy win, but HHH seems intent on making sure Kane stays buried, so I can't see him winning either.
5. HBK - They aren't going to give the belt to a part-timer.
