I desperately hope he goes to Raw. That way I don't have to watch him.

Quoth Its False

GET THIS MAN INTO THE MAIN EVENT IMMEDIATELY!!!

Brock vs Steiner = $$$

The time for the typical WWE "pay your dues" bullshit is NOT now!!

Yes. It's a brilliant idea to feed the only man the WWE's built properly for the future to an immobile, unprofessional asshole who's best match was over 10 years ago.

EXACTLY! The WWF's biggest problem over the past 2 years is refusing to let the competition get one up on their superstars.

Diamond Dallas Page - embarrassed by The Undertaker and his wife.

Booker T - pinned by The Rock, Steve Austin, and the rest of the WWF main event crew over and over until credibility was shot.

Scott Hall - for every time he got up on Steve Austin, Austin had 6 things in return. One sided feud, Hall was whipped all over the ring at Wrestlemania, nothing was left.

There's going to be a REAL fine line to watch here...

Scott Steiner can run out during a Singapore Cane Match, and beat up on Tommy Dreamer. He then trash talks Dreamer, leading to a PPV match.

Scott Steiner can run out during a Singapore Cane Match, and leave Tommy Dreamer for dead. He trash talks Triple H, and demands a World Title match.

Same start, different endings. One could make Steiner a threat immediately. The other could screw him from the getgo.

The way I'd do this, if Elimination Chamber is a Wargames style match, is to have the Triple H Heel Team win the cointoss. Have 'em beat up on babyfaces. Face #5 = Scott Steiner. He throws Triple H all over the ring, and finishes with a Steiner Recliner, in which Triple H passes out. And there's your Vengeance main event.

I like Steiner's character, but his wrestling ability (or lack thereof) won't help either show.

"From this point on, I will prove that I am the best this bitchness has to offer, and if anybody wanna tempt ... test me, step to me like a man." -- Booker T

You've got to wonder, though.....Steiner has already been in WWE, back in 1993. Will that count as "paying his dues," since he and his brother left on good terms?

With Scott, as with any Steiner, this is going to be really good or really bad. As a BPP fan, I'm of course hoping he'll throw in some shoots. ie "Who is it? STONE COLD?!" when asking who his challenger at Starrcade 2000 would be. It was Sid
Except this time, Stone cold can make a big return. or not. whatever.

This could be very, very interesting.

I would pay serious money to see Scott Steiner beat the ever-loving shit out of Triple H. Seriously, if that was guaranteed to happen on a PPV, I might very well pluck down $50 for the enjoyment of seeing that, alone.

The Booker-Steiner feud was one of the few things that WCW had going for them in their last days, and I'd love to see that rekindled. And if Steiner beat Triple H first, then a Booker-Steiner feud would once again center around the WCW World Heavyweight Title.

So here's to all my freaks out there... Big Poppa Pump is your hook-up. Holla if you hear me!

Scott Steiner beating the piss out of Triple H would be a nice change but needs a few things to make this work completely.

i'd say that Scott can come in and somehow earn a quick shot at the title. he beats the shit out of TripleH during their world title match BUT before he wins booker T runs out, clobbers Steiner for a triple H Win and his reason being that Booker was next in line for a shot and Steiner leapfrogged him, so he took him down.

This drags up their history from WCW and they have a No.1 Contender match at the Dec. PPV. winner gets a shot at Triple H and then the loser of the No.1 contenders match can look for a rematch with the newly crowned champion.

This lengthening of their fued gives the world Title some more credibility because men are fighting feverishly for their shot at it and Tripl H has it for longer meaning it's harder for people to get their hands on the title, making it more exclusive.

Of course, Jeff would let Steiner violate him, since he's on the bottom....

Seriously, I was actually hoping this would happen. He can look like he could beat HHH, and hopefully, he'll be stiff enough to put HHH out for awhile..

I don't see what the big deal about Steiner is. He's slow, stiff, and has a long line of injuries now. Sure his muscle bound, big deal, a lot of wrestlers are. Sure maybe he'll say some bad words and go off but his mic skills are horrible! He slurs his words, he takes a break between each word. He was REALLY boring to me. Come on, someone back me up on this! I don't see what they need to add Steiner when they have Jericho, Christian, Storm, Hurricane, Booker, they could push instead on Raw. And Smackdown sure don't need him with the lineup they got. I think this is a waste of the WWE's money.

Well I hate to break it to you but DDP is not in the Undertaker's league, and Booker T does not even belong in the same ring as the likes of Stone Cold in the Rock, so I have no problem with them getting the best of Booker T.

Truth is most of the WCW guys who came over got buried because they weren't as good as the WWF guys (as far as what level they are on. Their highest guy was Booker T, who is IC Title contender at best. He's lucky that Stone Cold and The Rock "made him famous" to steal a line. I have to laugh every time people say he hasn't gotten pushed enough, because he has gotten way more than he deserves. After that they had Lance and Kanyon and a few other IC Title contenders and a bunch of cruiserweights. So who did you expect them to build up?

Jericho and Benoit both got pushes when they were originally brought in. Benoit was always involved in the main event and was built up as THE GUY that HHH always wanted to destroy someone. And Jericho, he had a freakin countdown dedicated to him. Flair was like half owner when they brought him over, I'd say that's not bad. And the nWo guys were thrown into the main events even though Hall and Nash didn't deserve it. I'll say Hogan "deserves" it just because of his iconness (did i make that word up?)

Maybe they could've pushed Eddie sooner, but other than that I don't think they really misused any of them that much.

The deal with Steiner is he's someone new for the wwe to work with. Given the right story he could be very entertaining and the possibility of this is whats got people talking.

i don't know how so many "Smarts" can shoot something down before it even gets a chance to fly. most of the time they whinge about them not staying with good thingslong enough , then why can't they give them a chance and a little time to make these good angles for us.

edit in: I guess I'm a "smark". Oh do I love labels. Well I hope I'm allowed to give my opinion on how I'm not crazy about this. Let the branding begin

OH happy happy joy joy. They signed an over the hill, injury prone, incoherent, deteriorated , juiced up, jerk. Let me get all excited. Hello I'm TIRED of Triple H I DO NOT want to see a more broken down version of him instead.

What an absolute waste of money and even worse time they are going to give this hasbean. Seriously Come on. If an injury doesn't get him then the roid rage will. It's not a matter of IF but WHEN so why bother waste your time on this guy.

WWF does have a recent history that shows that WCW leopards not changing their spots... Buff Bagwell- WCW: Known as lazy/ not take his job seriously, WWF: Came to his first match out of shape and unprepared... Scott Hall- WCW: A immature drunk who fights personal "demons", WWF: Let go in under 6 months... Old Man Nash, WCW: lazy, injury prone, over the hill, WWF: Injured immediately. rehabs, comes back first match in, boot step "ahhhhhhh".

Knowing Steiners body/ attitude plus the Raw injury jinx I give him 6 weeks. I really think Steiner is one of those guys (much like Nash/ Hall) who isn't as good or is important as he and management is lead to believe... Hey WWE can you PLEASE use the guys you HAVE stuck in mid-card purgatory and push THEM!

At least this will give HHH a fellow broken-down, roided-up, immobile glory hound to play with.

Seriously, Steiner would have to go to RAW - there's really nobody on Smackdown! that he would look good fighting against. I also don't believe that this shows desperation on WWE's part just yet. No, desperation goes by one name only -

Sid.

If he returns to WWE, then desperation has truly set in.

I, for one, love the signing of Scott Steiner. He will fit in perfectly on RAW where his wrestling liabilities won't get to exposed but can still cut a cool promo. In the long run the signing won't make much of a difference and won't make any difference in the ratings unless HHH decides to get his roided ass out of almost every segment and let guys rise to the top.

I can't wait to see the Genetic Freak in action again.

Im sorry i gotta disagree with you on this one. I think you may be drinking too much WWE kool-aid. Stone Cold and the Rock are both already legends true, and maybe Booker will never draw like them or sell shirts like them but Booker is more than capaple and deserving to be in the ring with either of them. ANd he deserves main event status, hes over with the crowd and he can work. Hes at least as deserving as HHH, who is still living off a great heel run from almost 3 years ago. If he hadnt been buried in the invasion, I think he couldve done pretty good in a fued with Stone Cold. Anyway, Booker T is probably the most over face on RAW and that aint no accident. The deserves everthing he has and more.

I don't have a particular problem with the WWE signing BPP and milking him for what they can get, but at some point, the well is going to run dry. Sooner or later the last of the unsigned WCW 'superstars' will have been signed, and I have to wonder where the WWE will be. At some point, somewhere along the line, the REAL next big thing has to emerge, and the fact is that most of the "big" things are only in part created by the WWE. What sends them over the top is the fan reaction, and while you may not like to hear it, it isn't necessarily the person with the 'best workrate' thats going to take off. Until then, I think we are facing a steady diet of recycled types

Just watched the PPV and agree with Kentish: it was a solid card. I quite enjoyed it. I think it just needs a little more serious X Division, a little less VKM and more title stability. Gotta disagree with 5 falls being two many though:
