I'm sorry, but it's pretty damn hard to be worse than Crazy Town. Taking Back Sunday isn't THAT bad.

Although Chevelle has somehow inexplicably managed to go down the tank since their debut... they can't be that much higher than Crazy Town. And you get love for the Exies, Loudermilk, Idlewild, and Before Braille.

Another unique countdown, Feely.

I see Nirvana fell out of the top 40. Why?

Well, Taking Back Sunday's from right around here, and being in high school where people are all Emotional, lots of people are like "OH YEAH TAKING BACK SUNDAY THEY'RE THE BEST BAND EVER SECOND ONLY TO DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL" and just...no. And that one song's still REALLY bad besides. I mean, hell, at least the Crazy Town song has an even somewhat catchy chorus. And Nirvana fell out due to sheer overexposure. I mean it's PRETTY good but rock radio please stop playing it so much. Please.

Overplayed songs are the main reason why I rarely listen to the radio these days. :(

Yes, but you're talking about people who think Dashboard Confessional's emo. Uh, no, his other band may be, but Dashboard Confessional isn't.

And my apologies for having to wade through Joisey emo trendhoppers. It gets better once you're out of high school.

Further Seems Forever isn't all that bad, actually. And I'm not from Jersey I'm from Long Island, dammit. And Dashboard's annoying enough to me too, dammit.

Close enough, people from Joisey and LI have overrun my school, the lines kinda blur.

Debuted at #99 out of 181. MGB songs I usually liked right away then got sick off, so that doesn't bode well. Just kinda find the song mellow and ranting. Meh.

Did Pearl Jam fall out for the same reason as Nirvana?

Matthew: You would've loved it, David. A week in a foreign country, strange people, strange customs...

Okay, now the best new rock song is Disturbed's "Prayer." Why you would put it in the absolute bottom ten, I'll never know (oh yeah, because it's your list).

Disturbed is awful. HEY I can make a weird noise with my voice and SCREEEEEAM. Nu-metal ugh. Well, for the most part. There's still some groups out there I like like uhhh Reveille and hmmm well that's about it off the top of my head.

Sure, but he actually learned how to sing for this album. While the Depeche Mode comparisons are just asinine, the song's actually not bad.

Eh, still...and I think the song's actually the second-worst of the five singles ("The Game" was REALLY awful). And DEPECHE MODE? Don't wanna know who's been saying THAT...
