Sorry, Triple H. your princess is in another coffin.

Eh. I was expecting something more offensive. It wasn't good by any means, but it was obvious that HHH and the WWE were hamming it up as much as possible.

On another note: Does Dave know what "Exhume" means? Apparently not...

(edited by Excalibur05 on 21.10.02 2144)

I should have listened to spf2119 about HHH because he is the smartest Wiener around.

Since everyone else is doing it (ok, not EVERYONE, but...)

Vikings (1-5) - Well on our way back to 1-15.
Badgers (5-3) - Apparently the Motto is now "Wisconsin: Seeing How Many Close Games We Can Lose"
Twins (OUT) - Oh well, if we're still around next year...
Buffy 7.4 earns a 6.123 Out of 10 for being contrived and rather stupid. But at least the characters are less annoying than last season. And next week: All Anya, All the Time.

In the end I'm correct! The Game is that damn good. He dressed up as Kane 10 years in the future (w/t-shirt and mask) and screwed Vick, knowing he would be facing him sometime in the far off future!

I am so glad I no longer watch WWE. By quitting in protest after the HLA episode, I have saved myself the anguish of watching these last few episodes, including this latest debacle.
Thank God I didn't watch that. It feels good not to give Vince my money anymore.
This is indeed a new low.

I have a theory that WWE is doing this on purpose to rile up smarks; since we're so knowledgeable and cynical and root for heels, they have to get us really pissed off at HHHHH and pay $35 to see him lose. The new kayfabe, if you will.

Of course, that idea is complete bunk, but I guess that's the optimist in me sneaking out. Back, you vile optimism!

I saw the casket skit. It sucked. Screw Raw.

I have to admit, I had a seriously good laugh at the end. That whole segment reminded me of something DX would do. It was horribly done, but they've done worse.

Recap from memory:

The whole bit did differ from the spoiler noted in the sense that the body was not dug up...it was on display in an open casket in a chapel. Katie is dressed in a high school cheerleading outfit. "Kane" (blatantly HHH) talked to the body and acted like the body talked back, agreeing to do the deed. "Kane" grabs a breast (pixelated), a second, pulls the bra, then the panties, which he puts in his face and smells saying "I love the smell of fermaldahide in the morning!" Then he climbs in and lifts a leg. We then flash to the flowers and some lovely music while we hear HHH in the background moaning and saying "Whose ya daddy!". When we come back, he says "Oh God, you're right! I screwed your brains out!" with a fistful of "brain matter" which he throws at the camera.

Somebody needs to start making "WHY DO YOU BOTHER" signs to take to RAW in the future.

Well, Parts, Smackdown is still good. So if you get it in your area, it's definately worth watching.

You know, I do realize that it's over the top stupid/funny in a way. But the whole storyline is just too dumb to support.

With poison running through your veins, and death marching solemnly towards you, heroic acts become more of a necessity as you see your time dwindling.

Vanquishing your enemies, making amends to those you have wronged, and leaving words of love and kindness for those around you become second nature as your own mortality looms

However, true strength lies not in these last desperate acts, but in the actions of one who has to get out of bed the next day and face the consequences of doing that which you believe is right.

You really want to know?

After Triple K finished feeling "Katie" up through her cheerleader outfit, he then stripped her of her bra and panties. Then, after removing his 2002-era Kane T-shirt (how handy that he had reproductions of Kane's 2002 mask and T-shirt in 1992), he climbed into the coffin, spread "Katie"'s legs, and proceed to have intercourse with the dead. (This wasn't shown; rather, soft-focus shots of the candles at the end of the coffin were shown.) All the time, he was muttering about how happy he is to be having intercourse with her and (figuratively) putting words in "Katie"'s mouth. After this, Triple K put his hand under "Katie"'s head and pulled out a handful of fake brains, saying "I really screwed your brains out!" He then slinged the fake brains at the camera, leaving a greasy smear on the lens. Dissolve back to the backstage area, where PoocHHHie is laughing his head off and Coach is looking at PoocHHHie like he'd just scraped him off the bottom of his shoe. PoocHHHie walks off - fade to black.

What a steaming load of shit. It was obvious to a two-month-old iguana that it was PoocHHHie in a bad Kane get-up. "Katie" was obviously a mannequin, judging by skin tone and texture. The segment was done in the poorest of taste, and overshadowed the entire damn show. I could feel my IQ descending as I watched it; it fell further writing that recap above. Did Vince really approve of this dreck? By God, he's clueless.

I once said that I'd prefer Leatherman to Screamin' Steph. I now officially change my position on that. I'll read the recaps of RAW, provided anyone's fool enough to watch that show after tonight, but I'll be watching Smackdown! instead.

BTW, what do you think the apology will look like next week?

Steph

Basically "Kane" started screwing the dead body, cut away, bad porno music, cut back, Trippulaytch says: "Was that as good for me as it was for you.... what's that? I did? Oh my God, I did!" And he pulls up a handful of giblets. "I screwed your brains out!" and throws it at the camera, the fans laugh it up, The End.

*west coasters: spoilers!*

HHHHHHHHHH, dressed as Kane, addressed Katie's "corpse" in a casket in a funeral parlor. He talked about how he loved her, and leaned in, implying she wanted him now. He fondled her breasts, which was pixelized. He took off her panties and sniffed them, saying "I love the smell of formaldehyde in the morning." Robert Duvall surrenders. He then took off his shirt, climbed in, and they went to a montage of various plants around the room as HHHHHHHHHH fucked a dead body on a wrestling show. He then climbed out and said something Kevin Nash would consider "witty" which I've thankfully forgotten.

I think I covered everything.

I'm now going to take a shower.

*EDIT AFTER READING THE OTHER RECAPS* Ah, yeah, the brains bit. *sigh*

Zimmy...don't watch it if you have something else to do, but it's pretty funny(in the bad way).

A supposed surveillance camera shows the funeral home in 1992. "Kane" (HHH) walks in and proceeds to talk to, argue with, fondle, and eventually "screw the brains" out of the corpse.

Actually, now that I write this out, it was pretty sad. Anyway, Kane throws HHH in a limo at the end of the show, but the trunk is obviously open. Kane says he's going to screw HHH now.

In other news--HBK is alive and well, and ready for his own revenge on HHH; Stacy Kiebler loves Test's new pants; and Trish Stratus wants an injection of Vitamin "C".

They showed a funeral home with what was obviously a manaquin in a coffin. Then HHH in a Kane mask and a Kane "Big Red Freak" shirt walked in and said "Katie? Katie? It's me. Kane."

Then he proceeded to hit on and grope the manaquin. He took off his shirt and motioned to take off his pants and then they cut to some "romance shots" of candles and stuff as HHH moaned and groaned.

Then he took out her "brains" and said "I screwed your brains out".

The rest of RAW was perfectly acceptable television, but that'll probably turn you off. J.R. was great all night raising hell about how stupid the storyline is. Unfortunatley, he probably doesn't mean it...

(EDIT: Hmmm...Let's ALL recap this segment. It'll be fun.)

Then why would you even care enough to post? I don't understand. In a sophomoric way, YES, I laughed. I wouldn't want to watch that crap all the time, but it was stupid enought to make me laugh this one time.

If I didn't watch college football, I wouldn't go to a Buckeyes chat and celebrate the fact that I didn't watch them lose and say I'm glad Jim Tressel missed my buyrate.

Not watching something and not caring are two different things for some people I guess. I love it when people "boycott" something and STILL feel the need to respond about it, even though they're boycotting it by keeping up with what it's doing and only feel the need to comment on what it's doing wrong. Sounds like PTC to me...

Keeping things positive, I thought Big Show looked as good as he ever has tonight. Main event commentary by Lawler and JR was CLASSIC. I'm starting to dig Dreamer. And Booker T/Goldust RULE!

I'll have to put this in the guilty pleasure file. I know I'm not suppose to like this, but I would be lying if I said I didn't chuckle at some of it. It wasn't laugh-out- loud funny, but it was humorous in a sick perverted way, and I guess I've always had a weird sense of humor.

And before we go all holier-than-thou on Vince, I would say that this segment DID get a decent reaction from the live crowd.

All-in-all, there will probably be worse in that "Jackass" movie. (hell, this looked like something they would do, except with an actual body).

You know, I didn't hate this because I was offended. I hated this because it sucked. Sucked intensely.

Now, I'm not going to say I won't watch wrestling anymore. Because I know I will. But, for the first time I can ever remember, I turned off the tv and didn't watch the rest of the show.

What I really, really can't wrap my mind around is that a person came up with this and thought it was such a good idea, that it was believed that millions of other people might want to watch it too.
