Shawn Michaels is hosting the Raw party tonight at the World. I wonder if they're going to interview him. And if they are, could we be getting that Michaels-HHH match at Survivor Series. I doubt it though.
These commercials are superfine because they pay for the production costs of putting CHRIS MOTHERFUCKING BENOIT on my GODDAMN TV SCREEN! I will GO GREYHOUND! I am thinking OUTSIDE THE BUN! – Dean Rasmussen 8/1/2002 Smackdown Workrate Report
If they don't go Michaels at Survivor Series, I'd be shocked. First, HHH needs to redeem the job he did at Summerslam. Second, unless they are actually going to give RVD a run at the top, its not worth killing any future credibility jobbing him out again. Look for Trip to go over HBK at Series, with RVD getting the December main event and Vince's annual experiment of new champion in December.
I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said.
Let's hope that we don't get a follow up to the match of the night and arguable match of the year. Makes sense.
Do you really think that HBK will go over and become champion? That would make RAW suck even more than it does now.
RVD and Booker T should be the next two to main event against HHH (I don't think that he will pass the title until at least Wrestlemania.) If they want to do a rematch then job the belt off of HHH and make it a semi-main event match rather than a main event match. HBK would only be taking up a main event spot that is better used for someone who is a full time wrestler.
If they are going to go to separate PPV's next year RAW had better start developing characters so that they could fill a PPV card.

I think what he meant was to have Triple H go over HBK at Survivor Series to build momentum for the next month when we have RVD go over Triple H to become the aforementioned experimental champ.
Who's to say they won't go megapush crazy and give Batista the next shot? He wouldn't deserve it, no--but it would put a new face in the main event. I personally agree RVD and Booker T should be the next 2 challengers. I just like floating possibilities.
Vince tests the waters with a new champion towards the end of the year, something he's done every year the past four years...
1998/99 - The Rock, Survivor Series-WM14 1999/2000 - Teo, Summerslam-Survivor Series; January-Backlash 2000/01 - Kurt Angle, No Mercy-No Way Out 2001/02 - Chris Jericho, Vengeance-WM18
(No, Big Show does NOT count, because he didn't keep the belt long enough.)
Notice a pattern? The new champ Vince tries is always a heel he's trying to build up as a main eventer. Are RVD and Booker heels? Uh-uh. Ladies and germs, I can say with confidence that Triple "I Suck More Than You, Can't Draw As Well As You, And Haven't A Hope in Hell of Matching Your Workrate, But I'll Still Make You Job to Me" H will hold Raw's title until Wrestlemania, when the next babyface Vince tries to build up will get the big win over him.
(It really should be Jericho turning face, winning the Rumble and Vince forcing Teo to job to Jericho at gunpoint, but RVD or Booker T will be more than fine.)
CRZ NOTABLE QUOTABLE OF THE MONTH: KANE: Triple H...tonight, I will burn the flesh from your body! MICHAEL COLE: OH MY GOD. KANE THREATENING TRIPLE H, SAYING HE'S GONNA BURN THE FLESH FROM HIS BODY! CRZ: Umm, I heard it the FIRST time! -- WWF Smackdown, 9/9/99

Big Slug did hold it for more than a month, and did defend it in that 5 star classic against Bossman.

It's times when I see a guy like Brock Lesnar on top I could REALLY go for an active Shawn Michaels.... Lesnar is EXACTLY the kind of guy that Shawn could yank a ****1/2 match out of without trying.
I loved Shawn vs. Triple H part 1... I trust they won't ruin that by doing it again, because they won't be able to.
I'm sure he's spinning to someone, somewhere, as the hottest he's ever been and guaranteed big numbers if they put him on their air. Radio people don't die, they just end up lower power stations.
