The 1st premier is always the best because you get to see the yahoos who think they got it.

1st cut Wendell. I dont know who he thinks he was fooling. I remember a kid in high school pulling that fake passing out crap at wrestling practice. He didnt get cut but we made practice a living hell for him every day afterwards. He didnt come out for the team next year. Kudos for Snow seeing thru the farce.

Although Wendells acting was better than some of the cats they have now. "Victoria im looking in you general direction"

On a side note i dont see how the judges belive someone w/ alergy based asthma has a shot at getting a contract. She didnt do the 1st run and she came in last in the last run, with the aid of a water bottle. I guess the other girls were really piss poor.

Because not everyone they choose is simply because they're the best 13. I knew either the allergy girl or the one with the kid (Vouva or something?) would make the final 13, because it will make good tv to watch them try to deal with their issues while working for the contract. To be honest, I'm more surprised that Wendell didn't make it, so we could have this season's Darryl to mock.

Maybe we can win this week:

I thought the only reason they picked Kelly (Allergy Girl) was because she looks so much like Lita. (And while we're at it, Jonah looks like a wider Disco Inferno.)

According to the earlier post on this board, Lisa was the member of the cast that has the nervous breakdown. I guess WWE or MTV isn't going to shy away from her. She was featured on the opener, and she's on the Tough Enough official site:

Lisa
Age: 25

Hometown: Livermore, CA

Bio:
This New Mexico native grew up surrounded by three older brothers, which she says prompted her to get in great shape. Lisa, 25, was such an intense soccer player that she once got ejected from a game when the ref pulled the dreaded red card — so watch for her to bring some of that physicality into the WWE ring.

I, for one, am anxious to see how they portray her, throughout the season.

That was a terrific casting special. We need more really mean trainers. And I can't believe Wendell wasn't a plant. I mean, geez, I'm not one of those "reality shows are fixed" people, but that was just too perfect.

I'm going with Jill (Damn, she's fine) and Matt to win. Of course, it's way too early to predict anything, but what the hell. (My picks are more often than not the first ones to go: Even when it came to the finals, Maven is the only one of the four I thought might actually win).

Hopefully this season will, if nothing else, give Bill DeMott a boost.

I really can't comment on the contestants yet, so...

I love Al, and I don't think he could ever get un-over after these Tough Enoughs. It'd probably happen, but Al is exactly the right guy to be the head teacher for this show.

Ivory was really good last year, especially at being the teacher who keeps everybody's spirits up. She seems to genuinely care for all of them, even the ones who had no chance to make it.

I can't get a good read on how Hugh is going to be. He seemed to be good enough, but today all he did was yelling during the workouts. Hey, Big Show did that last year too. I won't get a good read until two or three episodes from now.

I really still wish that they had another trainer, especially one like Chavo last year. One who is a bit younger so he understands the mindset a bit better, and is probably a bit smaller so that he can better teach the smaller guys how to wrestle a different style than the heavyweights. Then again, they really only teach the most generic moves on the show anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter that much.

Since everyone else is doing it (ok, not EVERYONE, but...)

Vikings (1-4) - A win is a win.
Badgers (5-2) - Indiana? INDIANA?!?! *sigh*
Twins (OUT) - Oh well, if we're still around next year...

I liked the show, and thank GOD they cut that chick with the goofy tooth! Man, that thing was more distracting than Stephs fake boobs.

Bill will be the "tough guy" instructor this year, and let Al take a smoother approach. Good for him, kicking that slacker off. I thought he was going to beat his ass. THAT would have rocked. Get beat up, and THEN get cut!

Let Us Take You Back to LAST SEASON (as retold by me..)
John says that the WWF is the perfect mix of all the things he can do. Overbite says that he doesn't want to be a WWF superstar, and that he'd rather flip and run around. WHY DON'T YOU JUST BEND OVER AND KISS ROSS' ASS KEVIN? Fuck. This is THE most talented athlete of the remaining people. What are you afraid of? That once he gets the contract he's going to quit? Do you think you're wasting TV time on him? You say he's patronizing you, yet he just said that the WWF is a perfect fit for him. Do you really think he would've wasted his time flying in to make fun of you?? THE REASON JOHN WILL NOT BE ON TOUGH ENOUGH 2 IS BECAUSE HE OUTSMARTED JIM ROSS. Fuck JR. Fuck Overbite. Fuck this show.

I would've loved to be a fly on the wall when JR came into camp and saw John. Hee!!

I ask you, is this the face of a girl who would go crazy, run into the walls of a fancy MTV house, threaten to jump off a roof, and sneak into OVW and a house show pretending to work for Al Snow.

(The answer is: Apparently)

This premiered tonight? The last two years they ran non-stop promos for this show. I missed Raw and taped Smackdown, so even if they said something this week, it seems like the WWE promo machine waited a bit to get cranked up.

I went to the WWE and MTV websites to find a broadcast schedule, but was inundated with tons of worthless bullshit and couldn't find any dates or times. I imagine they'll package it with Heat again, anybody know?

Hmmm, you do not have to be 'intense' to be sent off in a (ugh)soccer match. She might just be really crap at tackling.
