Parnell was alright as Bush but Will Ferrell was better.

I didn't care for the Safety skit.

I usually don't laugh during Chris Kattan skits, and last night was no exception.

Weekend Update saved the show last night. The only bad part about Update were the Ramada Sisters.

Lots of commercial parodies.

Crowd was dead most of the night.

Non-Update Line Of The Night: "Go get me my Pepsi, Bitch."

I doubt Christina Aguilera will be performing on SNL after that skit.

Overall, a disappointing SNL, saved by Update, Tracy Morgan, and Chris Parnell. Next week Senator John McCain hosts SNL, with the musical guest, The White Stripes.

"Here's a picture of Sigfried and Roy and Michael Jackson with some animals. Question is, has the orgy ended, or is it just starting?"

The Dell guy impersonation was perfect... and other than Tracy Morgan's Pepsi line, that was about it for the night...

Tracy Morgan yelling at Lorne Michaels is the greatest thing in the world. Aside from that, Weekend Update, the Christina Aguilera sketch and Sarah Michelle Gellar's nipples, nothing really did it for me last night.

Parnell was decent as Bush, but it seemed like he was doing an impression of Will Ferrell doing an impression of George W. Bush.

Next week should be pretty good, though. The writers always over-compensate when they have a guest who isn't from the world of entertainment, and I can see McCain being able to keep up. Maybe Chris Parnell can pull out his John McCain impression. "Son of a bastard!"

And the White Stripes own you, so it's all good.

Jkyle.com says:

What no love for the Saddam skit? Jimmy Fallon only broke character ONCE!

And the faux war commercial was the highlight of the show for me. "We're pissed Saddam, maybe not at you, but you'll do."

Much laughter resulted from the racial profiling commercial as well.

I thought weekend update was the only half bright moment of the night. The rest sucked. ANd I usually laugh at just about EVERYTHING they put on, so that is saying something.

I didn't see much of the first half hour because I was watching Confidential (couldn't miss Lilian). Flipped to SNL during commercial breaks and watched the last hour.

The Christina Aguilera video shoot had me rolling (probably because I just saw the real video and the entire time I had my mouth wide open in disbelief). "It's not DIRTY enough". That segment was literally laugh out loud funny.

I *heart* Tina Fey. Again talking about the Aguilera video. "What's with that video, I was watching it I think my TV got an STD" (LOL)

Also liked the ads of every American problem blamed on Saddam and the "We racial profile" Airline ad.

Another thing about the Christina Aguilera skit, Tracy Morgan probably would've played Redman better instead of Dean Edwards.

Oh so was that what it was? I sure kinda thought it looked like a figure-four to me... Well yeah thanks... I'm new around here, so I'm still kinda trying to feel my way around here...
