I may be confused - I thought Boselli was coming off of two shoulder surgeries? Is this someone else who was left unprotected? I heard a long sports talk radio segment on this the other day, and now I've thoroughly confused everyone involved.

Your correct Guru. He's been injured a lot over the past few years. That probably has a lot more to do with it than anything else.

Who are the Texans going to take with the first pick in the draft? I have heard maybe Joey Harrington, so maybe they will take Jeff Blake in the expansion draft and have Harrington on the bench for a year. Or David Carr, a guy who came out of nowhere this year. Boselli, Romanowski, Jamal Anderson are all pretty good picks, albeit with high salaries.

Romanowski could bring a lot of fire to your young defense.... jamal is a great running back as long as he can come back completely healthy like hearst.... i would definitely take those two even with the large salaries...

Let's be honest folks, the people on the lists are those that each team wants to get rid of because they need the salary cap space.

Rob Johnson, Armstead, etc...

The team screwed up and signed these guys to bloated contracts that they are not living up to.

Houston will take very few of these guys, cause they get the full load against their cap.

Probably at most 2 or 3 on each side of the ball, if that.

I think possibilities might include Romo, Boselli, perhaps Anderson.

The guys they really want are those with the low, low price tag...

EDIT

'cause they need the $$$ to spend on rookies...

Haz is exactly correct. I would be surprised if they take any higher priced guys. They're going to lose, they might as well do it with younger guys that make less money!

The Texans will defintely take Jeff Blake. He is a good veteran QB that David Carr can learn under. The most surprising name on the list (that hasn't been mentioned) to me is Willie Roaf the Saints left tackle. He is one the premier offensive lineman in the league.

i suspect the Texans would take him over Boselli.

At first I thought, if I were Superman, a perfect secret identity would be "Clark Kent, Dentist," because you could save money on tooth X-rays. But then I thought, if a patient said, "How's my back tooth?" and you just looked at it with your X-ray vision and said, "Oh it's okay," then the patient would probably say, "Aren't you going to take an X-ray, stupid?" and you'd say, "Aw f*** you, get outta here," and then he probably wouldn't even pay his bill.

Yeah Roaf is a 3 Million dollar bargain compared to
Boselli.

I am not as convinced about Blake for 6 Million... Gotta be something better out there in Free Agency?!
