Well...my Ravens had quite the night last night. 31 points in the second quarter. A drive consisting mostly of penalty yards(there were flags on three straight plays, all of the 15 yard variety). And then to cap it all off, I didn't even know you could return a punt, nevermind return it a record-breaking 108 yards.
OK; I'm done gloating now. The real question is can they do it again against Cleveland.

Wasn't a punt returned for 108 yards, but a field goal. Looked like McAllister was just going to go down at first and probably did not even know if what he was doing was legal. Full credit to him for running it all the way back, though!!!
The Broncos just played stupid last night, especially on D. The 15-yard penalties were ridiculous. Plus O'Neal gets himself tossed. Bumping the ref is just so stupid, especially when the interference was a good call.
Full props to the Ravens. They took advantage of everything given to them last night.
Oh, and Ray Lewis is a freaking monster!!!

Damn I'm retarted. I meant to say field-goal(hell I watched the damn thing. But it was incredible. McAlister was talking like it was a play they have practiced before.
Ray Lewis is the best player in the NFL, bar none.
You have to give the Ravens credit on the runback for knowing the rules. Most people never knew that the ball was stil live.

That game started to unravel for the Donkeys when they said that Lelie dropped the ball - O'Neals mental gaffe confirmed it and the 108 yard runback disgusted me so much I couldn't even flip the channel over to RAW - the TV just turned off.....I wonder what Griese will trip over this week
I turned it on just as he was running it out. Great play. The second quarter must've been W4's Nutty Period, as it was also when Seattle ran up 3 scores in less than 2 minutes on Minnesota. A bit like all the hairy OT games in week 2. I wonder what this week's Nutty Period will be, if we get one.

Supposedly, that's exactly what he's supposed to do. They actually have a play designed for that situation and the "key" to the play is for the guy who gets the ball to look confused and hesitant, thus (hopefully) relaxing the opposing team, thinking he's not going to do anything.
Granted, McAllister might have just made that up to make himself look better. Who knows?

Columbus Blue Jackets: Ignite The Night (yeah, the motto sucks, but the team might not!)

billick said that it's a play they practice on a reg. basis...and now other teams will be looking out for it/trying it.
you have to credit coach for knowing the rules.
Raw rhymed with glory. Smackdown made me all shades of happy. WWE is getting good again. The crops? Jeezum Spice! Someone stole my crops. What in the ham fat is going on. That's just poo-doo! That's just my 2.458 Yen.
After blowing it vs. the Eagles, dare I hope for a Carolina team that just knocked off Seattle to do the same at home vs. Dallas? The Pack is so close to home-field, man...
