Isn't it ironic that Vince, in the storyline, is bringing the nWo back so that they can destroy the WWF...
And the general consensus on the board is that they might actually accomplish that for real? LOL...
I just think that's funnier than hell.
But having gotten that comment out of the way. Yeah, I'm not a particular fan of Nash or Hogan (I think Hall's awesome, though), but I am excited to see how Vince is going to pull off this nWo angle.
Vince couldn't possibly screw this one up...
...but then again, didn't we say the same thing about the Invasion?

the nWo angle is gonna rock I think. (I might be wrong though..) 1-Vince is bringing them in, and will keep them in check as they are his croonies.. 2-They are gonna be brought in as heels, out to destroy the WWF..thus no cool playing to the crowd, no drawn out hip promos, no rambling about hulkamaniacs, brudda 3-As they are the heels the pay-off is gonna be them getting their asses handed to them. Who will be doing that we don't know yet, but it will happen. Especially if they are aligned with Vince (who always gets his ass kicked at the end of a feud)
I seriously doubt even if we will see the Klique reunion as everybody keeps saying or HHH even getting involved in this story. In fact, I am starting to get a positive feeling that this might actually make for some interesting tv. (And damn, I would love seeing Hogan at WM getting his ass kicked by anyone who is willing to sell his backscrape of doom)

I was wondering this as well, this angle seems to be taking "smarts" into account. Why do I think this? By Vince claiming to "Inject poison" into the WWF. I could've sworn to have heard that phrase all over. As well as saying it will "Kill the WWF". Now, of course, a lot of explaining by JR will have to be done to those who didn't watch WCW, and don't know the nWo from the job squad. This make me really wonder about the way that we hear only maybe 10% of the wrestling audience gets any information on the net. I think it's a lot more than that, and things like this, not to mention the way the WWF uses little teases and fake rumors on the net (fake online posters, putting fake matchups on new PPV sites)... I also can't wait to see how they approach this. I feel that Vince and team learned a LOT from the inVasion flop. NOW they have some name recognition (Without creative control clauses), to attract more mainstream viewers, to make the split happen (yes, it will happen). Vince being a heel is the key thing. The inVasion would've been MUCH better, and WCW would've gained respect. Hell, that angle would probably STILL be going, if Vince was heel, and had these 3 guys with him as well.
Damnit MixxMaster.. I saw that image at the bottom of your post and now I will have a headache just from watching it for the rest of the day. That is ONE nasty bump Sabu took there.. So does this make Benoit a terrible wrestler like Billy Gunn btw?

Yeah, it's pretty sick, huh? Actually, as I see it, it looks more like Sabu not tucking in right away, ugh, nasty hit. Gunn, on the other hand, is just plain sloppy.
I imagine there will be some kind of history given. first, I'm thinking an in ring or "office" interview where he quickly runs down the Outsiders history. Then, on SD and the weekend shows, some kind of video package (they own the footage now, it would be a good idea to put it to use) detailing the key details (probably convieniently dropping all the B-team crap.) A really cool idea would be to have different video clips showing various things they did with Hall/Nash/Hogan doing narrative along with it.
"My parents said I could be anything, so I became an ASSHOLE!"
yeah we need to keep them away from so much interview time.... run clips and stuff but do it at different times... before they appear... during matches.... maybe mention them once in a while.... fans will pick up as they see some of the history...
I AM THE BEST there is, was and ever will be!!!! Dont you wish that you were me??? no?.... i've got two words for ya!

Right, when Billy Gunn drops somebody on his head it's his fault but when Benoit does it it's obviously the other guy's fault.
Can't go around saying bad things about Lord Benoit, can we.
