Ok, so we know that Chris Jericho won the IC title on RAW from RVD, so what happens next?

We can safely assume that RVD is going to be involved in the feud with Triple H for the next few months, so while he might get a token rematch with Jericho, he won't be winning it back anytime soon.

Meanwhile, Jericho is going to be going against Flair at Unforgiven, supposedly for a revenge match. The two possibilities are that Flair wins and takes the title less than a week after Jericho won it, or that Jericho retains and goes on to feud with someone. It is possible that they would have Jericho job to Flair (afterall, jobbing is all it seems he has been doing for the last few months) but that doesn't seem very likely to me.

So, making the assumption that Jericho will in fact retain this Sunday, who is he going to feud with in the future? Will it be Flair again for a while, or is there some other face who will have a prolonged battle with Jericho?

I like to see Tommy Dreamer wrestle Y2J for the I-C Title.

However they'll probably have Kane wrestle Y2J instead.

I can think of someone that would dig the IC belt, sucka. This UnAmericans thing is getting dull anyways.

With the main event push they keep throwing towards the guy, Jeff Hardy becoming the next person to go over Chris Jericho doesn't seem unrealistic.

Thank you Mr. Wanz for the check, now you get an AWA World Title Reign. But be careful, my boy Greg is a heat machine.

I would really like to see Flair win the IC title. In my eyes, I'd like to see RVD win against Triple H and face Y2J take on Van Dam afterwards for the title.

I agree with having the five time(x 5) WCW champion feud with Jericho for that belt. Yes, they should *both* be going after the WCW title(I refuse to call it the "World Heavyweight Championship" belt), but this could give them something to do for a while. Either that, or give Booker and Goldie the tag straps. As for Mr. Jericho, how friggin cool would it be to see him come out on Sunday with all the belts that have been meshed into the WWE IC title? The WCW US title, European title, Hardcore title, and of course the IC belt. I'd mark out big time for that. And what a perfect time to use that gimmick as he's facing The Man. Flair might be a couple steps behind, but he'll always be the man. Also, have Jericho do a backstage interview prior to his match where he states that he didn't win one title on Monday, he won 4. The announcers have no clue what he's talking about, but then he comes out holding the 4 belts. That'd rule. As for future opponents, Jeff Hardy seems likely. Kane too. Raw's got a *lot* of contenders for the WCW belt. Now if they'd only use them.

I believe that Flair should capture the IC title. if he's on the last "great run" of his career, what better place to start than that?

A good question: Am I the only one who thinks that Tommy Dreamer and Ric Flair could have great matches together? Just as long as Tommy leaves the hardcore aspect out, it could be good.

I personally would enjoy seeing both Dreamer and Richards in the IC title scene, not necessarily win it, but be contenders, i'd also like to see Storm be a contender rather than be a tag champ, let Test or Regal hold the tag titles with Christian. Also a returning Rhyno would be good in the IC title picture. Maybe throw Bubba in there too since he's getting a push. Rico maybe?

But my first choice from the Raw roster? Raven. I mean he was banned to Raw back when Vince was in charge, couldn't Bischoff bring him back? I like his whole little "Raven's playround" on Heat, but he could do it even better on Raw mixin it up with the big boys instead.

But Honestly I don't know why the IC title is on Raw, I guess it's because Smackdown has the Cruiser title. But Smackdown has much better IC candidates with Edge, Cena, Mysterio, Eddie, Benoit, Matt (with 2 t's), Batista

Hey Yo...

I wouldn't mind seeing Buh Buh Dudley win the ol' IC belt myself.

Let me get this straight. You WANT to see Tommy Dreamer take it to the mat?

Been there. Seen it. Trust me, it's not a pretty sight.

Heck, I think it could be good to see him win the IC title. If not for a wrestling match, to see Dreamer get pushed. Considering all he accomplished in ECW, his current treatment in WWE has been horrible.

I got to go with Booker T here. He could chase Jericho for a few months while the two put on some awesome matches.

The way they played up Flair as being past his prime last night, Jericho has to go over. I'd be all for a Flair win, but only if they'd hadn't had Jericho job to him last month for no goddamned good reason.

As for who he should face next: Keep him the HELL away from Kane. No one has done more to destroy Jericho's credibility (other than Teo, of course) than the Big Red Machine. Keep Kane in his role with the Unamericans while he knocks off the ring rust, and get back to me after Survivor Series.

I'm against Dreamer doing anything meaningful on Raw because I believe the WWF would be better served by shifting him to Smackdown with a promise to revive the Hardcore division, giving Stephanie a modus operandi to steal many wrestlers from Bischoff, like Raven (specifically) and Bubba Ray Dudley (possibly).

If I had to make my pick between Booker T and Jeff Hardy, I'd go with Jeff at this point. Booker's real good in this role they have now - he and Goldy need to be the guys to take the tag titles from the Unamericans in order to get them to the Island Boyz - and Jeff (last few weeks excepted) has been busting ass and really got shafted with terms to the Euro title. Plus, Jeff v. Jericho would be the fresher matchup. They seem to be giving Jeff the whole Desire tilt, so big things have gotta be in his future.
