When I see a midget dressed up as Chucky, I know logic has taken a holiday.
>And Damien was known as Galaxy (he had kind of a Power >Raiders style get-up) early in his WCW run. Atlantis also >put in an appearance or two on Worldwide, and if I recall >correctly, he was called Lizmark throughout >one.
The Damien/Galaxy thing I totally missed, but the Atlantis thing I was just about to ask someone about - I remebering recapping the Atlantis match, and the match where he was called Lizmark Jr. (and faced Emilio!), but I have no idea why he was there or why they changed the name. Did WCW try to start something up with CMLL?
Now a question from a Lucha newbie - where can I see CMLL? This has all sounded really interesting to watch, but I have no idea where to find, buy, tape, etc. these matches.
Its just one. Better now than when it really matters. Really. Pens camp on Thursday.

If you have Galavision, either on DirecTV or cable, it's on Saturdays, usually, but not always in the afternoon.
You're all so WONDERFUL. Why did they ever have to remove you from the continuity? You'd have made for MARVELOUS stories. You WILL make marvelous stories. And the FIRST story of the new world will be a story of REVENGE! -- The Psycho Pirate, Animal Man 23, May 1990.

Marty doesn't need surgery. This is a great day. I almost feel like I can say, I don't care that the Steelers lost
2 guys, well-versed in the sport, don't know each other's respective languages that well. How do they call spots for each other? Are there international signals for that sort of situation?
"Business has just picked up" says JR. Then right on cue, Molly enters the arena! Never was JR any better in introducing someone. --Raw 7/15

I believe the conventional wisdom goes something like this: "Too much action and too many people for only referee to keep track of everything."
A better question would be: Why one tecnico referee (Papa Casas) and one rudo ref (Tirantes)?

I'm sure the rudos unionized and threatened to walk out if they were not representated in the officating - why should all the referees call things fair and notice all the low blows? That's not represnting the rudos at all.

Either the ref helps them out or they tend to use moves that have similar names in the other language.
Next question---what was the big deal with Konnan? All I ever saw was him sucking in WCW. I heard, someplace, that he was the "Hulk Hogan of Mexico"--care to explain that whole thing?
Well, when Konnan (el Barbaro) was in AAA, he was "a heartthrob" and often appeared on one of those Mexican soap operas.

Hi. Slash wrestling is an awesome site. I generally check slash for recaps. However, my one pet peeve is that sometimes people make it unclear who won the match.
