If any of the British contingent could give us a report on how much of Monday's show airs on Friday, I know I'd be really interested in hearing about it!
I also read that TSN cut the Lesbian stuff out of RAW. That was a pretty long segment, what did they show instead to fill the time (or do they even try?)?
PROMOTIONAL CONSIDERATION PAID FOR BY THE FOLLOWING:
Frosty, no such luck. TSN showed the H-L-A from the beginning until the Island Boyz made their presence known, where then they went to an extended commercial break. TSN doesn't mind lesbians, but cuts out any and all violence against women (by men).
Flames: 0-0-0-0 [Training Camp opens Sunday] Stampeders: 3-8-0-2 [Last place in CFL West Division]
Yeah, it's weird. They'll show violence it if it happens in a match, but if it happens outside of a ref and a ring bell, they block it out. If anything excessive happens during a match (such as Dudley-tables) they'll cut away too.
However, a woman could shoot a man in the head in the middle of the ring and they wouldn't look twice. Nice to know how overly sensitive to the point of absurdity people can get.
Judging by past cuts made by the snip-happy editing bastards, we'll see up to the Island Boyz entrance. But then we've never had LESBIANS before. It'll also be interesting to see whether or not they show the gay wedding on tomorrow morning's Smackdown airing. They showed the proposal last week, but a proposal doesn't scream GAY GAY GAY like a full-blown ceremony. Anyway, I'll let you know.

My theory - the 10pm showing will have cuts. The 2 or 3 am showing will probably be shown in full. I might give you a report LIVE!!!!!!! about the earlier showing, but I am not going to bother with the late night one. I have Playboy TV for HLA.
They will not show Steph being attacked on the Smackdown at 11am or 10 pm on Saturday but the late night one may be okay.
The main censor problems were Channel 4, who cannot show tables or international objects unless it is done in a 'tasteful' fashion, or something.

Well as predicted by oldschoolhero, the whole HLA segment was shown up until the Island Boys came into the ring, and then we cut to an Unforgiven commercial. Following that we were straight into Jericho's entrance for the main event, so the Van Dam/Flair stuff backstage was cut as well. But the really annoying thing is that before the start of the programme, a disclaimer is shown: 'WWE Late Night - The following programme may contain certain scenes which may be unsuitable for younger viewers.' So they warn people not to let kids watch...and then cut everything out anyway. Be VERY interesting to see how much of Smackdown we get to see Saturday night.
That was the 10pm version. I was thinking of staying up to see if the rest was kept in, but that was an awful show. If you are going to have no payoff, why show the first five minutes of the lesbians anyway? We also got a beep, with Regal talking to Nowinski about '[beep]ing Molly Holly" (screwing?).
The cut to the Unforgiven ad musthave screwed up some young lads. Just as they are getting to the peak of excitement by near naked ladies, it quickly cuts to a big, sweaty muscle-bound bloke stretching.
During Jericho's entrance, we also got JR explaining why Eric is a very bad man and we must not cheer him.
I have the feeling I will not get to see any violence against Stephanie. If we lose to Manyoo and I do not get to see Samoan-on-woman violence, WORST. WEEKEND. EVER!

Just watched the 10am SmackDown airing. They cut the Hell out of the wedding segment, including all of GF's "You're Not Gay" spiel and the after-ceremony attack. We got to see a Samoan Drop on Billy, and an Avalanche on Chuck. That wa sit. Bastards.

Regal said "...rogering Molly Holly." Dunno how explicit that is in England, but over here on the other side of the ocean it was like. "What'd he say?" "Rogering." "Oh. Right. Guess that means...?" "Yeah, guess so."

"You gotta hate somebody before this is over. Them, me, it doesn't matter."
"Hate, who do I hate? You tell me."
"Who do you love?"

I wonder if they are going to show Lesbians on the Raw recap show Bottom Line (It is a PG show and usually don't show a smuttier segments). It's kinda hard to hide the segment when you have your colourguy screaming HLA HLA every damn match.

Well, they did show the Bubba / Trish vs. Nowinski / Molly intergender tables match. I guess if it's not a scheduled match (or happens after a scheduled match) they cut it.

I'm surprised they cut "rogering" out! It's not like its a swear word really...just colloquial word number 68234 for sex. Weird...ruined a pretty funny Regal promo that they cut it.

I remember a sign getting through that must not be offensive to Americans but is pretty offensive over here - on a Smackdown shown at 10am on Saturday morning, "William Regal is a Wanker".
I think Regal has a bet going on the words he can get onto WWE TV. I will mark out if he ever uses the word "Apth", prounonced ape-eth.
And regards to my earlier comments - GREATEST. WEEKEND. EVER!!

Wanker is used here all the time, guess it doesn't carry the same stigma as it does on your side of the pond. It was used on Married with Children all the time, as an insult to Peggy Bundy...
Most of the british slang and curse words i've picked up was from british sitcoms and movies
