Now that I've seen the whole segment, I think that the blonde was Savvy, another UPW alum. The brunette was definately Looney Lane (who appeared in a backstage 'viginette' with Val Venis back in the day and in a Discovery Channel special a few years ago).
I know that if I were a guy, I would be extremely letdown by this whole thing. Lawler hyped the segment with pretty much every other phrase out of his mouth, nearly ruining some pretty decent matches. He was talking so much about it that JR had to repeatedly tell him to just drop it, sit down, etc. I understand hyping the "main event" during the show, but not to the point of ruining the other guys commentary during matches, right?
And for what? We saw two reasonably pretty girls strip down and kiss for a few seconds. Anyone (male or female) who is interested in watching some lesbian action could search on the internet and find stuff that is infinitely better than the '3 minutes' we saw after all that buildup.
I know that this was a parody, but at the same time, it was obviously an attempt to keep the viewers hanging on. The WWE has been doing so well recently, there has got to be a better way to keep the viewers hanging on. It's just discouraging, after they were putting together great shows recently.

Or just do what I did and flip to Cinemax and watch something that lived up to Lawler's hype. (Hey, I'm just taking advantage of HBO/Cinemax being free on Dish Network this week!)
Seriously, though, there were BOUND to be a lot more people tuned in to Raw this week due to all the Billy & Chuck hype (yeah, I know they're on Smackdown, but non-fans know nothing of the brand split) and this 3 minute segment is bound to piss off any of the groups who actually weren't protesting the amiguously gay tag team. I usually chalk up bad decisions on the WWE's part as mistakes, but this was just flat out ignorant.
I'm wondering, though, if Lawler wasn't prattling on and on again just so Jim Ross could keep telling him to shut up, in hopes of regaining some popularity with the Internet crowd.
The hype sucked. (Lawler is really getting awful) I wasn't let down, because I didn't expect anything. It's TNN, they're not going to do much.
However, I do want to know one thing. How the hell could that kick to that girl's stomach not hurt? I don't tape shows, so I can't rewatch it, but as near as I could tell, Jamal or Rosie, don't know which is which, just simply kicked the shit out of her. Maybe there is something about that makes it look worse than it is, but damn, that sure looked like it would hurt.

She's a trained worker, so I imagine she knew she knew what to expect when he came at her and prepare accordingly. I also imagine it could have hurt plenty, but like Tajiri, Blackman, and anybody else who has stiffer than normal kicks in their arsenal, he probably knew how to pull it so that it looked much worse than it actually was.
Molly runs down and stops the action, runs down on The lesbians and the fans for being immoral. She gets Three Minutes, she responds by whipping out a gun, saying "How's this for entertaining? Three shots in your skull". She gets to the Trinitron unharmed brandishing the gun. Then she says, "You know what?" she then eats the gun. "It's amazing what they can do to chocolate today."
Next week, the Lesbians are signed as a tag team and feud with Molly and Victoria. They have matches that rival Manami Toyota/Toshiyo Yamada vs. Dynamite Kansai/Mayumi Ozaki in skill and brutality.
Uh, oh, er, must be dreaming again.
Lawler again ruins another segment.
(edited by deadbeater on 10.9.02 0327) "Business has just picked up" says JR. Then right on cue, Molly enters the arena! Never was JR any better in introducing someone. --Raw 7/15
"And TNA also has great workers. I fully believe that Luger will try to be a professional, and therefore allow himself to be carried by the Styleses, the Danielses, and the Lynns." Where is there ANY past precedent to be this hopeful?
