I took about two years off from wrestling message boards, and i am amazed to come and find the kind of sheep mentality that permeates these places. the last time i was posting it was the rock that was evil, bad, unwilling to job, horrible for the business, carried by hhh. HHH was the best heel since ric flair, overwhelmingly praised for finally getting the push he had been denied unjustly for so long ect. Now i come back and everything is backward. The rock is the greatest now, and HHH is the absolute devil. From what i can gather from this board, we, apparently, KNOW that HHH runs all of the backstage and booking because he is sleeping with Stephanie. has the power to keep Jericho down, who APPERANTLY we all KNOW he hates. Always books himself over everyone (unless of course he puts over someone like a totally broken down HOGAN, and in that case we come up with a rationalization for it, as contrived as it may be). You people are just so full of crap, and the next time i hear another one of these idiotic pocHHHie things, or whatever you guys call him, i am going to go Jay and Silent Bob style, find out where you live, knock on your door and beat you down (well, not really, but whatever). First off, this is NOT the WCW- the buck stops with Vince, and VINCE is the only person you can or SHOULD blame for any wrestler being pushed way too fast or way too slow. The wcw had a power-vacuum that allowed guys like Nash and Hogan run things (they have admitted as much), while the WWE has NO power vacuum or doubt on who is in charge. This is not a confusing point, and requires no back-stage knowledge. vince OWNS the company, vince has FINAL APPROVAL over all storylines, its that simple. SECOND OFF, you are NOT that smart. You do NOT know if HHH hates chris jericho, and all of your contrived "proofs" that jericho is being held down by HHH are bogus. Sure, i agree that jericho has been booked poorly starting from NO WAY OUT, but his title reign was EXACTLY like angle's first reign, and almost exactly like the start of HHH's first heel reign (do you ever remember how long it took hhh to actually get a clean win as champ over anyone? he freekin jobbed to the godfather in a none-title match for goodness sake, had to cheat to beat every and any challenger ect). The truth is that HHH was the most entertaining character on wwe TV for a long time before his injury, and he is still a good character and is NOT evil and does NOT own everyone backstage. He may not be at the top of the business anymore (since angle has surpassed him and everyone else by leaps and bounds), but everyone's ridiculous, hate-fest against HHH is just sheep-like and pathetic. In two years, all of you will be saying how evil Angle is, and how he is holding down the best big wrestler or whatever, and so on and so on. get an opinion of your own and stop looking for conspiracies.

Since I don't feel like working myself up before bed, I'll just point out the fact that after spending a very long time telling us about exactly how and in what manner Vince wields his power backstage, you then tell us none of us are smart enough to know what goes on backstage. But then perhaps you are privy to things we are not.

Oh, and no, HHH has never in his life been the most entertaining character on the show. But unlike Jericho who after 3 months of poorly written angles tanked his title reign, HHH got even MORE of a push, which has basically continued unabated to this day.

Oh, and congratulations for the nice blanket judgment about what everyone has, does, and will feel. Stereotyping everyone on the net and doing mass mind-reading always helps an argument.

You never know when you'll meet that special someone... the someone that's mysteriously blind to your flaws. or, you know, stupid enough not to realize that yes, you really are that cynical.

Don't you think it's possible that Three-H may have Vince's ear BECAUSE he's sleeping with the Billion Dollar Princess, and the fact that it is widely known and accepted that Hunters cronies ran the show back in the day (when Vince still owned and ran the company)?

Edit: I suck, It's true, It's true.

Rant: Your rant gimmick sucks.

Anyway, let's back up the fucking truck.

the last time i was posting it was the rock that was evil, bad, unwilling to job, horrible for the business, carried by hhh.

Whoa whoa whoa... Rock? Unwilling to job? Say what you want about the guy but how many times have you heard somebody complaining about Rock being too above it all to job? To your Godfather/HHH example, I offer you Bossman & pinning Rock. And Stephanie pinning Rock. 2 years ago (the last time you mention you posted) on Raw, Rock got pinned by Christian in a tag match. Let's not stop there. PPVs in 2000:

Royal Rumble: HHH wins (Cactus), Rock wins (Rumble)
No Way Out: HHH wins (Cactus), Rock jobs (Show)
WrestleMania: HHH wins the 4-way, pins Rock
Backlash: Rock wins, pins HHH
Judgment Day: HHH d. Rock (Ironman)
KOTR: Rock pins Vince to win HHH's title (6-man)
Fully Loaded: HHH wins (Jericho), Rock wins (Benoit)
SummerSlam: Rock wins 3 way over Angle, HHH- pins Angle
Unforgiven: HHH wins (Angle), Rock wins 4-way, pins Benoit
No Mercy: HHH wins (Benoit), Rock jobs (Angle)
Survivor Series: HHH NC Austin, Rock wins (Rikishi)
Armageddon: HHH & Rock both lose to Angle in 6-way, Angle pins Rock

That breaks down to 7 wins, 1 plain old loss for HHH, 1 no contest, and 3 instances where he didn't win his match, but wasn't pinned. Head to head, in instances where one pinned the other, HHH has two wins to Rock's one.

Rock also has 7 wins, but 5 instances of being pinned.

So yeah, it's not hard to find fault with Rock at times, but don't call the guy out on not jobbing.

Also, you're entitled to your opinion, but is the prediction that everyone will call Angle "evil" in a few years based on anything other than you thinking he's good? He's had a shitty book and a stripper bitch for a wife that feels the need to comment on other wrestlers in the company (read: RVD) but he's still one of few WWE Internet Darlings (wedged firmly between Benoit and Eddy) and it seems like it'll always be that way because the guy can literally go out and have a good, great, or amazing match with basically anyone on the company's roster. As evidenced by the match with UT two Raws ago, the same cannot be said for Triple H.

On another point of yours, HHH does not "own" everyone backstage, he just has meetings with them where he is critical of their performances, speaking down to them.

Stop saying "the WCW." Jesus.

And how DARE you reference J&SBSB, mess up the line, and then nullify your ripped off quasi-threat with "well, not really, but whatever".

If you're going to bother pouring your heart out about hating the majority of everyone on the board, at least bring some good shit.

God's getting a lot of play on a show that previously mentioned bursting through hymens.

I'll add that Jericho's reign as Undisputed champ wasn't like Angle's first reign at all. Y2J's promos improved by leaps and bounds, especially the ones with Ric Flair. It's okay if you're mad at all this, Drivebye, but let's stay polite. I did the same thing, and well, it's just so easy to get carried away with all this.

But hey Ringmistress, you have to admit that this poster's ramblings might get you off the hook.

By the way drivebye14, separating your sentences into paragraphs would be helpful. I lost track of your post after the fifth NOT.

It was much funner when it was over and you could look back and laugh ... at least until CRZ bloced Lima's old posts.

P.S. Drivebye14 - take another vacation. I second Salami's motion.

first off, how are you people saying i have a rant "gimmick"? cause i posted TWO posts that happend to be rants and called them that? Whatever.

Back to my point, its not that i am talking about deap knowledge of how vince "wields power" its that its HIS company and everyone awknowledges that he has final say in all storylines. So what if HHH has his ear? its STILL vince's decision to listen to him or not, and if we assume that vince is rationale, vince does what he thinks will make him the most money- and that is to only push hhh or burry another wrestler if he thinks it will HELP BUSINESS. So, there is NO reason why vince would want to burry jericho who is a big money guy (given his tallent, popularity, semi-rock popularity from his band ect), and to claim that every time jericho loses is because hhh is somehow using his evil, unstoppable back stage power is ridiculous.

So anyways, almost all of the responses here have been ad hominin attacks without responding to my points directly or at all. To the one poster who actually tried to make a point and respond to what i said:
To the the guy who took me to task about my comments about the rock, i was NOT one of those who attacked the rock for not jobbing, and i was refering people's characterization of the rock in the pre-summerslam rock-hhh dynamic (e.g. before hhh's first title reign). In my opinion BOTH the rock and hhh job enough and as the storylines require, with hhh being a better in-ring performer and the rock being better on the mic. nevertheless, your point is well taken. Sadly, that was the only substanative point made in reply, alas.

Alas Drivebye14, you sound like a man who has something stuck up his rectal area and thinks his hershies smell better and move out smoother than anyone elses. These people posted honest replies to your post., and are entitled to post what they have because of the generalality of your post. You aimed it at the 'IWC' as a whole, which means you basiclly called EVERYONE out, and laid out a rather harsh generalization. If you're going to post something like you did, a highly critical post taking aim at most of the posters on this board, be prepared for some backlash. If you can't catch the ball, don't bother throwing it.

If you want a comment on the rest of your content, I'll say as much; The Rock has never been bad with jobbing, even during the Mavia days. The heat with Jericho/HHH is real enough I would think (based on reports and stuff), and your reasoning has a hole; yes Vince is the big boss, however what if one person (who is shagging his daughter) who is a 'top draw main event status' guy can convince Vince that it'd be better for business if the other guy wasn't pushed?

In closing, do yourself a favor and read RingMistress' posts. She is quite pro-HHH, and she actuallyt does a REASONABLE job of defending him.

El Nastio, you have my props. But as far as the HHH sentiment goes, yeah, I'm a fan, but I'm also quick to point out the flaws too. I was bored with the face run, despite giving him the benefit of a doubt.

I am by no means "defending hhh", he is a pretty good performer, better than main eventers like taker, but worse than a guy like kurt angle- his in-ring skills are deminished since his return from injury, but he is by no means a poor in-ring performer, i would say he is now above average, moving back up to "very good". As for his out of ring work, he is clearly much more confertable as a heel, and that is the reason he hasnt been as entertaining since coming back. This was the exact same problem with Angle, who was a very poor face, despite his great talent. there is a reason all of the smarts loved hhh before his injury, and i dont think he is so different now to the point where everyone needs to badmouth EVERYTHING he says and does. My major point in my post was the sheepish nature of the posters- It used to be that everyone hated the rock and loved hhh, now it seems to be the other way around. i think people should learn to think for themselves.
