They've been doing the whole "contestants are knowledgeable in guest geek's domain" thing lately. Maybe he'll be on all week. They've been doing that a lot lately, too.

Sorry -- no redeeming social value. I was too busy being astonished to think to hit the record button on the VCR.
The contestant questions were pretty easy for anybody that hangs around this board. A couple of the geek questions were pretty arcane though. (The Rock's original wrestling name, before Rocky Maiavia. Molly's real name.) There were also a couple of questions that zoomed right in on the taping date of the show : one about "Hurricane's female companion", & another one leading to "Ric Flair heading RAW after the roster split".
*That's* it ! CRZ was the behind-the-scenes expert writer who devised the questions. And that's where he mysteriously was during the "Good night" episode! If one Steve Blackman question comes up the rest of the week, we'll know for sure!
As ManiacalClown mentioned, so far this season they've mostly had the guest geek for the whole week, so set your VCRs : ComedyCentral, 5:00pm Pacific (your mileage may vary).

Actually, because Comedy Central starts airing the night before's Conan O'Brien at seven this week, they've moved the show to five PM everywhere.
Of course, they finally get a wrestling geek the week they move the show, so I wind up missing the first two episodes...

HHH is doing it, keeping the show down so people don't hear about other wrestlers. Glass ceiling, man.

I'm sorry -- I just fell off my chair laughing. :-)
BTW, I don't think they broadcast Geeks this Monday -- they were busy with a "get that golfing gopher" movie-a-thon in commemoration of the holiday -- so OFB, you've only missed one wrestling geek episode.
I saw it yesterday and the contestant who challenged the wrestling geek obviously watched wrestling. For those who don't watch the show, when a contestant challanges a geek, the geek normally insults the contestant. When the wrestling geek threw off a catchphrase, the contestant responded with one of his own. Much to the amazement of the host, the two stood there shouting catchphrases and cutting promos on each other. It was strange because everyone else just stood around not knowing what to say. The contestant actually got the last word in, unnerving the wrestling geek (who looks disturbed) and eventually stealing not only the wrestling geek's medal but his heat as well. I hope somebody recaps this, because I can't recall the exchanges, I was kind of stunned like everybody else when it was happening.
HHH will be on Fridays episode. All four geeks will hand him their medals during the opening segment, skipping the questioning portion of the show entirely. He will spend the last 28 minutes of the show smirking, destroying the set with a sledgehammer and generating a ton of heat with the internet gameshow community.

Thanks, an interesting read on how people get on game shows. He was right, the promo vs promo segment came over great on tv.

All I know is when Alberto Del Rio ripped his mask off atop the ladder at Money in the Bank, it should have been revealed that Sin Cara was Rey Mysterio all along! Shocking twist!
