... until the last 12 minutes or so.

I was so pumped by Smackdown tonight (I avoid all spoilers if you are wondering).

It had everything. It ruled from the get-go. Great in-ring action. Funny backstage skits. It was as good as anything the WWF put out during the glory year of 2000. Summerslam plus the last few months of Smackdown restored my faith that Vinnie Mac could pull it all together.

And then they wheel out the fucking Undertaker to kick me in the nuts. Didn't they hear the pops John Cena got tonight? Mysterio? Bautista? Angle? Edge? Brock Himself? Christ, now we have HHH lording over Raw and Undertaker dominating Smackdown. Shit, I hate to sound like a smarky smark smark but that sound you heard over the digital airwaves was my renewed enthusiasm for the WWE spewing out. I guess I will have to start recording Smackdown again so I can fastforward through the shitty Undertaker promos and boring matches. Gah. Ptoooi.

You know, Mean Mark is not the best guy on TV, but, you know what?

That Kurt/Chris/UT match kinda ruled.

Granted, I think it was because of Kurt and Chris, but UT did make the ending look as good as it was.

Might not be so bad with UT on SD.

Okay, I'll admit that it was kinda cool to see 'Taker show up on Smackdown. Then his little "There's a new sheriff in town," right before he got off the motorcycle. That worked. I liked it.

Then the worthless piece of shit no-sells two motherfucking submissions. Fuck him. A great show nonetheless.

Right now I have a lot of respect for Chris Benoit, he put on a great match, and I admire the way he jobbed cleanly to the Und.....

....aaawwww, who am I kidding? BENOIT GOT SCREWED and you know it! Damn you American Badass! DAMN YOU!

But did you see the reaction taker got when he won? I saw it.

That match was super badass, but would have been better if taker had tapped out to the Crossfaced Ankle Lock of DOOOOOOOM. And, then, next week, they could have had Benoit and Angle wrestle next week to determine which of them was the real numba one contender.

I liked the show, it was coo' that they advertised that Rey was having a match just before the cxommercial break that happened right before his match.

Smackdown kicked ass! While UT may not be that great a worker in the ring, he CAN be carried to really good matches (like tonight), and the fans are solidly behind him, something needed to get Brock over as a heel when he beats (hopefully) Taker.

Hey Yo...

Rikishi has been really good lately. So much so, I actually like him.

Undertaker/Benoit/Angle was good because of three men. Not one. Period.

Also, who STILL taps to submission moves the first time? Rey didn't. Rikishi didn't. Sure, he had two on at the same time but it's worthless complaining when Austin/Rock/Any freakin' face would have done the same thing.

Show ruled. Last twelve minutes were the bomb. "I'm shocked, only one who even messed up was BENOIT! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! nice suplex to the outside! Loser! God I love when that guy messes up." Things in qoutations aren't really mentioned but would be said had Undertaker done them and harped on. Thank you.

That being said, show was classic.

And a fashion report, too!

The Good: I found a new UPN station (just one down from the old one).

The Bad: I ran out of propane, so I had to fry my hamburgers. Lemme tell you, there's a WORLD of difference between flame-kissed and cooking-in-one's-own-grease taste.

The Ugly: Those damn smurf-wannabe ref shirts!

Steph, in a red dress, with JUGS, chats. Hey, the ring-posts, -apron, and -steps are all silver!

Edge, in white/gold trunks and a WHITE trenchcoat, vs. Ese, in red/black flames trunks. Good match, lame crowd. Gotta love the second-chair spot.

Cena, in (dark) blue/white full-cut briefs, with matching kneepads and boots, vs. DVon, in his black gear (the white collar has a diamond "D"). Solid match. Bautista has music! (which reminds me of the music for the game "Love Potion")

See Rey's video. Now Rey has a match! Rey, in gold mask w. white feathers, and yellow trunks (with HIS name) vs. Rico, in his tiger suit, with Billy and Chuck. Surprisingly good match.

Ben-wa has a...thingy.

Matt f's up so Steph signs his death warrant. EvilAssMan chats.

Ese vs. EvilAssMan, in his man-diaper and "Back that Ass up" shirt. Good match. Good post-match.

Tajiri, in black trunks and dangly belt, with Noble and Nidia, vs. Shannon Moore, in silver/white trunks, with LAME music and Hurricane. Okay match, what I saw.

EvilAssMan vs. Ben-wa, in blue/silver-blade trunks. Okay match, not really much to it.

Hey, Trish and Bubba joined the mob!

Angle chats. Funaki/Heyman/Matt - hey, it supports the match!

Brocky, in black undies, and WEARING the belt, with Heyman, vs. Matt, in a green tanktop and black jeans (with girls screaming). Okay match; isn't Matt supposed to be a heel? Then why don't they have him wrestle agains faces?

Ben-wa vs. Angle, in red/white/blue camo., vs. Greybeard (OMG!) in red-devil shirt and bandana, on a motorcycle. So many Germans (more than a family reunion)! I love it, I love it! I want more! (but why Taker? and don't give me the face/heel deal)

Overall: kick ass! I hope we'll get someone to challenge Taker for his No.1 spot and we'll get more good matches. Raw, take notes (I mean it this time): wrestling=good.

I'm a Valet now! Woo-hoo eyecandy!

Aw, crud, that reminds me, I gots to post a "Great Thomas SmackDown! Report", but I was so pissed off I forgot. Well, here goes.

Elimination Match #1: Good start, Eddie avenges his loss at SummerSlam.

Cena vs. Reverend D-Von: For some reason, I like Cena's blue generic tights. Oh, look at the girls in the audience, they're having orgasms at the very sight of him. Man, Batista's new music RULES!

Elimination Match #2: Oh my God! The RIKISHIKICK is a finisher now?

Moore Vs. Tajiri: I can't believe I remember all these matches. Tajiri and Boy-Band-Man put on an amazing effort, while Noble... um, holds Shannon's ankle, Hurricane knocks down Noble, and Nidia holds the belt all the while. But damn, isn't she hot?

Rico vs. Mysterio: My pick for "Match of the Night" Rico is amazing! Rey Rey is amazing as well! Gosh darnit, these two were IN-FUCKING-CREDIBLE tonight!

Elimination Match #3: THAT'S the way to put the Crossface over! Nothing but Benoit LOVE.

Funaki Interviews Lesnar... Almost: Simply put: Funaki: SmackDown!... NUMBA ONE! Announca! You rule.

Lesnar vs. Matt: Lesnar won.

Stephie Has the Contract Signed: Just so you know, it's HER fault Taker is here!

God Damn Motherfucking Piece of Chicken Shit God Damn Elimination #1 Contender Motherfucking Triple Threat God Damn Match #4: How DARE you Taker! HOW DARE YOU NOT SELL two God damn submission manuevers! And how dare you refuse to job! And above all, HOW DARE YOU get over on CHRIS MOTHERFUCKING "THE MAN" BENOIT! I am so enraged.

That's all for this week. Good Night, take care of yourselves, and on a closing note, I hope DEAN BURIES TAKER for this!

Hey Yo...

Really, you guys MUST be glutton for punishment. You actually thought Benoti would win? Okay, even if he DID win, it's heel/heel. That sucks. Benoit vs. Lesnar does not equal buyrates. 'Taker's a face.

Secondly, Benoit faces Lesnar, LESNAR doesn't tap and you're all crying the same song. Look at the big picture fools. Benoit and Angle had no chance (even if during watching I thought they mnigth because I was so damn entertained and put my smart mind to sleep so as not to ruin it). Plus, the whole point is, Benoit ISN'T the man. He hasn't been screwed, but he also just got back somewhat recently and he still has yet to win a WWE world title. Get over it.

Eh, I'm a man of few words tonight, so let's get down to business.

GOOD:
-Rico/Rey: Awesome match! They REALLY need to start pushing Rico as a solo star. He's already drawing huge heat and the time has come to move him away from the Unambiguously Gay Duo. His match with Rey amazed me and it makes me curious about his OVW matches. Was he ALWAYS that good?

-Edge/Eddie: Usually, CRZ would respond with something like "Anyone who buys a PPV is an idiot" and he may very well say that in the recap. But that doesn't take away from this excellent opener. I'm hoping for a prolonged feud between these two while Edge continues to bide his time before shooting off into the main event. And you gotta love how Eddie CHEATS TO WIN~!

BAD:
-A Dead Push: Hey, remember John Cena? The guy who went over Chris Jericho cleanly at Vengeance? Yeah, that's the guy jobbing cleanly to D-Von.

-I H8 Slugs: Well, Angle and Benoit made the main event watchable, but Undertaker goes over once again. I'd be REALLY pissed, but I know this is only leading up to Undertaker being built as the next sacrificial lamb for the Brock juggernaut. For those who don't think it's possible for Undertaker to job that cleanly to a rookie, let me ask you this: Who ever thought HOGAN would job to a rookie like Brock in such clean fashion?

Nothing else of consequence to mention. Shannon and Tajiri was a thumbs in the middle, but they really need to give Shannon a PERSONALITY! How hard is it to make him THE HURRICANE'S F'N SIDEKICK?!?! It's not rocket science, people!!

"That's right! You suckas better FIND somewhere to run! 'cause it's me - Booker T - not only am I the Scorpion King, but I'm the five-time WCW Champion - and I got a sword, too! Now can U dig THAT - SUCKAAAAAS"
-Booker T, Hollywood's next big superstar!

"Sing along with The Rock is now over!"
-The Rock after getting booed out of Long Island

Hugh Morrus is now using his real name. NO, he is NOT calling himself Hugh G. Rection!!

And that's the bottom line, because it's false! It's DAMN false!

You may not want the face/heel answer, but that's exactly the answer you are going to get.

Angle/Brock is probably going to be great when it does happen, but it is too early right now.

Watching on TV, it seemed that Taker came out to a huge pop. And he got another huge pop when he won. I realize that maybe not all of the heat was real, but it looked as if the crowd was in it. Taker seems to be the perfect face to face Brock next, and get beat.

And not only that, but Taker moving to Smackdown! actually made sense, he won the number one contender's match (supposedly) on RAW, only to find out that Brock is now exclusively on Smackdown. Of course he is pissed and when offered a chance to go for the title on Smackdown, he jumps at the opportunity.

He had the feud with the unamericans, but that was sorta resolved with the win over Test, and Kane has stepped up to take over that feud with with very little lost.

So overall, Taker isn't bad to be the next victim to Brock, he's a face, he has a reason or two, and the fans eat him up. I agree that Angle/Brock would be awesome, but there is plenty of time for that in the future.

SD! just finished airing tonight here in Denver, and I gotta say, I can understand the outcry over Undertaker winning, but C'MON! I mean, he IS the Undertaker! The Dead Man! I give the guy credit for wrestling three times this week! And plus, he had to get his heat back from the match at RAW against HHH.

I just liked SmackDown! tonight. Much better than RAW!

What happened to the old WBTDeion? "Fools"?

UT/Brock is (I guess...?) the best decision for business (ok, not really), but I don't like how they got there. I would have been satisfied with 20 or 30 less Steph promos, just one saying "Since you jumped to my show UT, you get the title shot. It's an honor" and there you go.

Rock tapped to one (1) of those finishers alone as a face. Austin tapped to the CC and WOJ, but like you said, he was a heel at the time so no go. Still, I mean, come on. Two guys made the match good, not one or three. You notice how it all sped up when Taker took the bump to the outside? And I don't even like Benoit, though his vignette was pretty badass. (Which is another infuriating point- why build a guy up like that and then have him be the one taking the fall? Or was that promo really just for his newly shitty theme?)

Speaking of, Thomas hit it on the head. Brock definitely drew the short "Monster music" straw between he and Batista. I venture to say that Brock would be more over now (as a face or heel, I have no idea) with Batista's new music.

Go on... touch it.

Points of Agression(Recap made while listening to Linkin Park)

IF THERE IS ONE THING SMACKDOWN HAD TONIGHT IT WAS SOMETHING STRONGER THAN "RUTHLESS AGRESSION". IT HAD....... "MATTITUDE"!!!!

I don't care for Edge, I was glad to see Eddie beat him tonight. The finish was the first of many great "Chair moves" tonight.

Cena jobbing to anyone is always good television to me. I couldn't believe those chickens was screaming when John came out(By the way where is Randy Orton). At first I was wondering how they would distinguish Monster Bautista from Monster Lesnar and I see it now. Monster Lesnar will be known as cocky Goldberg, and Bautista will be none as Screaming head Goldberg. Music was cool though.

DAHHH! What's up with Moore's music?!?! Match was ok. The camera angle for Hurricane's clothesline was nice, so was the angle for Tajiri's baseball slide. Moore needs a finishing move. Tajiri jobbing makes Baby Great Muta cry...

Rico vs. Mysterio to me was the match of the night. Rico impresses more and more each match. Can't wait till he breaks from those two dead weights. That double springboard move Rey did made me think of Essa Rios. Damn I miss him.

I may be the only one but I dug Matt vs. Brock. It was a squash but Matt showed that he can sway a crowd. I almost believed that the fans thought he might of won. They we're feeling the........"Mattitude"!!

Main event was garbage. Good match but crappy ending. Wasn't Kane supposed to choose the side of the Mistress?? Oh well.

On a side note remember that backstage skit where Holly was talking to Steph then Dawn Marie told her that the phone call she wanted came in. When Steph went inside and Dawn blocked the door, then Holly got all in her face and yelled at her. That couldn't of been me. If I was Hardcore in that situation I woulda licked her face, or bit her titty, or something. Dawn is too fucking fine!

Taker defection and winning that match is all for one reason I think.
WWE actually has a plan.
There are two proven main eventers right now (wether you like it or not) that can take on Brock...(and HAVE to put him over in the end) Triple H and Undertaker.
(They are keeping Kurt away from him)
The whole focus is going to be Lesnar is champ and both shows want a shot..wait what happens. Sure you might not like Taker winning that shot but I for once believe there is a method to this madness instead of 'random crap booking' that we saw a while ago.

Hold your horses, enjoy the good and laugh at the bad.

Hey Yo...

Yes, Uber, I apologize, "fools" was a bit harsh considering I meant only the people who dare nitpick about a good quality show that had a good quality main event. Say what you want, but the wrestling on that show was great. Eddie, Edge, Rikishi (yes, 'Keesh, too), Tajiri, 3 Count Guy, Rey, Rico, Angle, Benoit and Taker should ALL be commended on a great show. I was entertained as hell by all but one freakin' match, and even it was nothing to cry about.
