With RAW continuing to build up the Intercontinental title by combining it with the others, and Stef's threat that Brock Lesnar will only defend the title on Smackdown, it seems to me that they are paving the way for the IC belt to become the RAW Championship, while Brock's title will be the Smackdown! Championship. I'd assume there would be some big buildup to a re-unification match at Wrestlemania.

Problem is, given that Brock would be the go-to guy on the Smackdown side, there really isn't anybody on the RAW side to groom as the challenger. Nobody wants to see HHH or UT there. The Rock lost too convincingly, and is not a guy that you can build a future around anymore. RVD has already fought him so many times it doesn't make sense as a Wrestlemania main event. Ric Flair is washed up, Chris Jericho is becoming less and less credible each day. Kane has never proven himself anything more than a niche upper mid-card player. The only guy I can't write off right away is Booker T, but they still have a lot of grooming ahead of them before he is WM Main Event material, and they don't appear to be in any hurry to start his big breakout push.

Or maybe Kurt Angle will eventually defect to RAW, but is he even going to be around come next Wrestlemania?

Oh, silly me...I forgot that Kevin Nash's quad should be healed by then. Problem solved!

Personally, I'd love to see them have a RAW champion and a Smackdown champion, then ONE WWF Undisputed Champion, who's on both shows. It'd be SO old-school NWA. But it's probably too cool for them to do it.

That would be giving Steph/Steph credit for much more intelligence and writing ability than she has. Besides, they could have done that by keeping the Euro-title and moving it to the show opposite the I-C title.

Thank you Mr. Wanz for the check, now you get an AWA World Title Reign. But be careful, my boy Greg is a heat machine.

I really think that's the way to go. I'd hope that they wouldn't call it the "RAW Title" and the "SMACKDOWN! Title," though. When you slap labels on like that, the titles become even more apparent as props with cartoonish names.

If they did, they'd probably add secondary titles like the "Know Your Role Championship" and the "Next Big Thing Title"

I don't know what I'd call them, though, since titles seem to be moving out of the territorial names ("European", "North American", etc.) and more into specialty names ("Hardcore" or "Cruiserweight"). My guess would be to call one the "Heavyweight Title" and the other the "Television Title," but I don't know and I didn't write this mess.

Sorta like the Headbangers' "Tag Team Championship of the Universe", the Freebirds' "Southern Tag Team Championship", DDP's Arm Wrestling Trophy....or Austin's smoking skulls belt.

Or Tazz's FTW title...hehe.

Wasn't it Scott Norton who had the arm wrestling championship?

Hey, hey, HEY!

Wait just a minute here?! Kane isn't worthy of the Big Belt?
He's just a midcarter? Well, that might just change with that new mask of him. He should be able to speak now instead of mumbling. So I expect great things of this man.

He WILL be main event this year, or he will never be...

And that's the bottom line, if you smell what's burning...

Yeah, suuuure, it looks like Kane will be HUGE with the new mask

After all, his big return was to run off some mid-carders and even that was interrupted by Booker T and the spin-a-roonie. Then, he did a Kane-a-roonie. If that doesn't scream mid-card, I don't know what does.

You didn't see anyone interrupting HHH, Rock or HBK during their comeback performance. Damn sure not gonna see anyone interrupt Austin when he comes back.

Well that's it then... Kane is doomed... To bad...
Oh well, that's life I guess... Boy, Am I glad you told me that before I made a fool of myself... NOT!

I don't care how he's gonna do it. Kane WILL make mainevent this freakin' year! I don't care if I personaly have to come down there and wrap a chair around his oponent's head.

Now can you dig that!

This does make me wonder, though--if Jackie's feud with Jarrett isn't about a fictional love affair and if it isn't about TNA signing Haas, what the hell is it about?
