By no means do I think that Brock Lesnar shouldn't have won the World title last night, but, I was just thinking, won't it kind of be a let down when he loses the title and then goes for something like the IC or the Hardcore? I mean, he came in, and he's at the top. What else can he do? Anything other than being at the top is going to be, well, rather unconvincing.

This is another reason I love the way they brought up Kurt Angle. They knew what they had in him, but they put him through all of the other belts, so that it seemed the natural next step was the World Title. Naturally, now that he doesn't have it, he doesn't have anything to do anyway, but at least he held the lower belts first and made his way up the ladder...

(Enough space? Good...)

If RVD wins tonight, the Hardcore Title will disappear, folded into the IC Title like the European Title was. I think that will bring us back again to four major titles: Heavyweight, IC, Women's, & Tag.

Well, if he hadn't people would moan that the newer stars are just becoming JTTS. Was Brock rushed? Yes. But you know what, they needed to do something surprising. Rock's gonna be making movies and Kurt will probably be gone for Sydney 2004.

Going for a lesser title certainly didn't hurt HBK. Heck, Benoit's first WWE match was against HHH as the champion!

And lastly, Brock has had far more training and background than Goldberg ever did. Kurt didn't lose his heat losing to Tazz...

Kurt going to Sydney isn't a probably at this point. He's been advised by numerous people in amatuer wrestling not to. Personally, if Kurt thinks he can do it, as much as it would suck to see him leave, let him go. I'd like to see Angle kick some ass in the Olympics one last time.

As for Lesnar, let me ask you this... What did Hogan and Flair do after they won their first World Titles? I doubt they sat around thinking about what the next step was, or what they were going to do next. Since I consider the wrestlers performers, I imagine winning the title is a VERY big deal, but your job is to have the best storyline and try to steal the show. Having good matches and being entertaining should be EVERY single person's goal. And as long as Brock can continue doing so, then I don't think he'll have to worry much.

You ever notice how girls who wore lots of make-up and were considered goog looking or doable in high school, AIN'T that good lookin' a few years after you've graduated? Still doable though. Oh yeah. MORE doable. Hehe.

If I were him, I would have paid someone to make that picture disappear. Permanently.

Well, you're right about 4 major titles, but it's Heavyweight, IC, Cruiser, and Tag. No one cares about the Women's Title. Hell, I used to and I don't even care about it anymore. Molly-Trish, Molly-Trish, Molly-Trish (head spins) Title's useless now.

Well, the WWE did kind of shove Brock down our throats and after a while, or after going through most of the mid-carders, it was evident that he was going to be put over by the Rock and THEN face the other main eventers. While I'm not a fan of the way that he was rushed to the title, he had to do something symbolic to show he had some sort of impact, thus becoming the youngest & fastest to obtain the World Title.

I was hoping that Brock having the Title would open up fueds with other guys who probably wouldn't stand a chance against HHH or Undertaker. But sure enough, what do we get on RAW? HHH and Undertaker fighting to be Number One Contenders. Hopefully, over on Smackdown, Brock will fued with someone-- ANYONE. But I hear at house shows, Brock is wrestling against Undertaker. So take that for what it's worth.

BTW..... The 2004 Olympics go back to its birthplace... Athens, Greece.
