I call it 'unsanctioned' because I bet someone posts the 'official' one while i type this.

Anyway, this was a show with ups and downs. Liked Dreamer/RVD (was that Dreamer's last match or is he just REALLY emotional?) and LOVED the new Kane look.

Something very Sting-like to the new Kane. He seems a touch out of shape, but he can talk, he can wrestle a decent match (had a memorable one with Angle about 6 months back) and those promos really built him up well. I think this could be the shot in the arm that brings him to the very top.

Speaking of the top. OK, I half-heartedly complained when Brock was superkicked off the apron on the last raw, and then (IMO) oversold rock's spit punch on smackdown. But I can see you giving me the crook-eye for that. But tonight - COME ON! In the opener, taker tosses Brock around like a ragdoll, pounding on him AND HHH. Main event, Brock runs in.. Taker turns, and with one measly soupbone knocks the unstoppable monster off the apron. Brock recovers... runs into the ring and hammers taker with... a belt shot. Not the F5. Not the triple powerbomb. Not the god damn shooting star press we're all waiting for him to bust out. A lame as hell belt shot. What a monster. What an unstoppable beast. For all the great work Rock did last night putting Lesnar over, Taker and HHH just took it all away with this sad display.

But fate is cruel. HHH and Taker wrestled one another in the main event of an MSG show to a symphony of silence. JR was SCREAMING to cover the fact that the crowd couldn't give two farts about that match. Notice how the show ended right at 11? I bet they called an audible, and ended the match early in what amounted to a mercy killing. Think they'll still make Brock vs HHH for the next PPV? I hope this display will convince them to change their plans.. Or is that too much to hope for?

Overall though, a pretty good raw.

I'm pretty sure there are 3 different people booking Lesnar as 3 entirely different characters and he's not smart enough to realize that 2 of them work for rival federations.

Watching his promos (if you can call them that) tonight, I think Lesnar could get over as a really cocky egomaniac that just brushes off all of his opponents. It would be an easy character for him to get into and build his mic skills with and could still get him over as an unstoppable monster, albeit with a twist.

I was bored with tonight's show. Couldn't even tell you why. Perhaps the shock tv element of RAW has shown lately is starting to wear a bit thin, methinks.

I now prefer Smackdown to RAW, Velocity, Heat and Pepsi One.

You ever notice how girls who wore lots of make-up and were considered goog looking or doable in high school, AIN'T that good lookin' a few years after you've graduated? Still doable though. Oh yeah. MORE doable. Hehe.

Another good thing about Brock as champ is that, besides what quite a few fans were able to see of him in OVW, there's still a bit of mystery about Brock as to the full dimension of his persona. They can take Brock into several different scenarios, and they have PLENTY of opponents for him. And thank GOODNESS Heyman turned the crowd against Brock from the onset of tonight's show. I think a lot of fans could have taken a cue from the renegade crowd at SummerSlam last night, but Paul E. squashed that right away.

Kane looked awesome tonight, Vooker's popularity continues to soar, the Snuka segment was, in a total kayfabe vein of thought, sickening.

I just hope that, as far as what the deal with the Undisputed Title is, that there won't be too much of the storyline focused around the GMs alone. We MUST see some kind of resolution that happens within the confines of the wrestlers competing against one another somehow. Just a thought...

RAW was good at some points, odd at others, and AWFUL at others still.

Kane out of shape??? That's the best shape I've ever seen Kane in... ever! I may have to take back my previous posts saying Kane had no heat. I'm willing to give them a chance with Kane... they play their cards right, he might even get up and over once and for all.

Look out Brock... you might see a Kane-a-roony in your future.

Heyman = God. They may have to fight to keep Brock as a heel for a while, but MAN, that's a fight they need to win.
