Angle vs. Milano Collection would be so cool, with all sorts of psychotic submission moves.

You're all so WONDERFUL. Why did they ever have to remove you from the continuity? You'd have made for MARVELOUS stories. You WILL make marvelous stories. And the FIRST story of the new world will be a story of REVENGE! -- The Psycho Pirate, Animal Man 23, May 1990.
Dean said: I figured it would be good, but I wasn't ever really feeling the hate in the match. I'll take the hate over big bumps anyday. --------
Really? God, HHH looked wicked at times. Those backbreakers! Ah, well, I really enjoy your reports anyway. I like 'em better than the shows sometimes. Ok, most times.

DEAN.
That's an awfully high standard to measure things against. I'm still amazed that, years later, people still chanted "I Quit" at Tully.
The ironic thing, of course, that Tully technically didn't say "I QUIT." He just kept screaming "YES! YES!" when Magnum was digging the chair leg into his head.

----- DR: Oh, it's an impossible standard to hold another match too. But I blame Fat Ass Dave for bringing over the perfect copy of it last week and I blame myself for watching it yet again. That match is the pinnacle of letting you FEEL THE HATE. I wasn't feeling the same thing watching Micheals vs HHH. It was more of a really well down wrestling match with neat garbage elements. It wasn't transcendent to where I actually bought into them hating each other. It was actually more like a good Big Japan or ECW deathmatch than Flair vs Funk I Quit or Benoit/Sullivan at GAB- HBK/HHH had more reliance on big spots than two guys just beating the fuck out of each other. I think the Flair/Funk;Sullivan/Benoit brawls are the transcendent ones, because you get emotionally caught up in the HATE. I didn't feel it here.
I can't remember the last time I felt the hate in a match. Maybe Cactus Jack/Triple H at the Royal Rumble, but that was on the lower levels of hate. Now that I think about wrestling is really missing the hate...now I am as well.

Apparently, you missed the Lillian/Howard Finkel segment. :)

DEAN, the wrestling angel must have come over and healed Shawn. How else can you explain the sealed head wound and the MIRACLE KIP UP he did after twenty five minutes of action?
(edited by deadbeater on 26.8.02 1824) "Business has just picked up" says JR. Then right on cue, Molly enters the arena! Never was JR any better in introducing someone. --Raw 7/15
I felt the hate when I saw Triple H/Jericho at Wrestlemania. I felt it again when he faced Undertaker at King of the Ring, and now, one good match later, Triple H doesn't bother me anymore.
The hate can also be felt for anyone Bradshaw faces. Man, I hate that guy. Lariats be damned!
You ever notice how girls who wore lots of make-up and were considered goog looking or doable in high school, AIN'T that good lookin' a few years after you've graduated? Still doable though. Oh yeah. MORE doable. Hehe.
Just caught the replay... AWESOME. SIMPLY DAMNED AWESOME. HBK is a sweet prince for coming back. Now, never again. Let this match echo through the ages, like Foley's last two. To me, THERE WAS NO WRESTLEMANIA 2000. NEVER. Benoit/RVD was good, but RVD needs to sell more. Ah well. Nitpicks. Eddy is my God. Simply put. And The Rock...WHAT a good guy for putting Brock over. Brock needs to give the Rock a big ol' hug or fruit basket for being so cool. Hey, HHH, not to be a hater...but you go out the same way you come in...on your back. So make sure you put some guys over on the way up.

Gee, notice a pattern? Not to be a HHHater, but the fact is that almost all of his great matches were with guys who knew how to work that style of match perfectly, and did. The jury's still out on how well HHH can do carrying guys. Still, he looked THAT DAMNED GOOD at SummerSlam.

Yes yes yes and of course don't forget the glorious Fully Loaded 00: LMS vs. Jericho and RAW 5/21/01: w/ Austin vs. Jericho and Benoit.
A friend made a "Best of H}{H 1999-2000" tape for me and it includes all those matches as well as the Dallas 10 man, the RAW Title match with Jericho (Dusty finish) and his match with Taka. It has just about every PPV that he headlined during the boom.
It is AWESOME. Damn was he on a roll, or what?!?
And YES, Dean will not be happy when he has to review Taker all the time (and in the ME even).
