So...am I the only one who's picked up the latest Fozzy CD?
I got the last one because it's Jericho and I was surprised in that I actually enjoyed the thing. So, I picked up the new one this past week and listened to it once and considered never listening to it again. However, I gave it another shot this morning and suddenly, I'm hooked on it. It's light years ahead of their first album, there's even 4 original tracks co-written by Mr. Jericho himself (as opposed to 2 on the first one). I'd highly reccomend checking this one out, it's a damn good album.

Man, I should get paid for this plug.
I am a 16-time Wiener of the Day. Unfortunately, all of my reigns happened during house shows and are not officialy recoginzed.

Heck no! I just got it yesterday. The album is SO Totally 80's. But that's fine with me since I like 80's metal. And it's real old school metal, not crappy haircut band metal. I think he's got a great band backing him up with some pretty good guitarists. They actually have guitar solos! WOW! Not like these kids today in their "nu-metal" bands who just punch the guitar and bang out some power cords. Jericho's, I mean, Mongoose McQueen's boys can play. I bought the CD just to show some love for my boy Chris Jericho, and I'm pleasantly surprised with the album. It's going to take me a while to get used to hearing Jericho sing, but if anyone out there like's 80's guitar riff based metal, this album is worth looking at. I just wonder how long it will take for people to say HHH kept album sales down.
Jericho has a band? I really need to pay more attention.
I really must get this, I love 80s metal
"Sales of penis-enlargement treatments and devices in 2000 totaled in excess of $600 million," Skolnick said. "Cock-lengthening is, no pun intended, a consistent growth industry in the U.S., and this bill would severely emasculate it. As usual, it's the little guy who suffers."
Yeh Jericho has had this band for a while as a side hobby. The lead singer (jericho) is this dude named Mongoose McQueen. I haven't followed them too much but their schtick is that they think they are huge Rockstars and Mongoose (jericho) is real arrogant about it. The used to be called Fozzy Osbourne until Sharon sued or threatened to sue. There's some pretty good guitar on this album and the CD's come with an autographed guitar pick! you can collect all seven!!!
This album is good. Good old school 80's rock like everyone said. I got the Jericho signed guitar pick, but does anyone know if the band really signed them or not?
Cause' here me and KG come naked, out of the side hatch, with the oils and perfumes, and incense!
If you really look at the pick, you can tell they're not actually hand signed, just faithful reproductions of the band member's actual autographs.
Also, it seems as though the trend of Jericho distinguishing himself from Moongoose has died. I kind of liked the fact that he had a side gimmick, and I shall mourn the passing of Moongoose. Although, Jericho's onscreen character now is pretty much Moongoose anyways. The first time they did the Moongoose/Jericho stuff, Jericho was still face, so I'm guessing he did it for fun, and to distinguish his wrestling persona from his rock persona.
Is it really good or is everyone just liking it a little more because it's by your boy Jericho? To me, this is "Santa with Muscles" for my CD player. Am I wrong? Is it "Scorpion King" for the ears?

The CD isn't going to win a grammy or anything, but I think its enjoyable. Jericho has a pretty good voice, the backup guys are good, and it is a very 80ish metal sounding CD, considering I like that sort of music, I like this CD. I agree with BobHollyStillRules... listen to it more than once.

He said on WWE.com that the whole Spinal Tap-style "Moongoose-isn`t-Jericho" gimmick was just too confusing. He said it`s more like the Blues Brothers now, where Moongoose is just an on-stage persona.
"Hollywood Hulk Hogan lost his hair match to Mother Nature, dude!"
I hope their CD is better than their performance on RAW. Overall, I thought they pretty much sucked. They did have some decent guitar, but even that kinda sounded like some re-hashed Zakk Wylde riffs to me.
Oh boy, I thought that was a bad performance. Jericho's voice is not good, and I didn't find anything original at all about the song. That had no place on my prime time wrestling show. I'd rather watch Moolah plug her book.

Original? They're mostly covers, or songs that ape the 80's hair-metal style. No one said they were original, nor do they have to be to be good.

I disagree. I choose to watch wrestling on prime time tv. If they're going to put on a band, they DO have to be good. Otherwise, they're just wasting my time. If they need to advance the storyline, give Jericho or Flair some interview time, or actually show some wrestling on the wrestling show.

Actually, the typo was intentional. I didn't say they could suck if they were going to be on TV, I said that a band can be a cover band and still be good.
