Absolutely sickening. If we needed any more proof the media a) doesn't bother to check facts and b) is insanely biased, here it is.
I'm surprised that f'tard GRUTMAN didn't write this article.
Mr. Williams will always have my support, period. My FIERCE support, mind you, support that wouldn't be so fierce if Vince and his ego wasn't so insistent on now killing the legend of Stone Cold and attempting to replace it with some upstart neanderthal monkey named the Rock.
"Williams declined to comment on her husband's arrest. Austin, who was released after posting a $5,000 bond, had little to say about the incident.
'Nothing happened,' he told the San Antonio Express-News, upon leaving the booking station with his attorney."
I'd kind of like to know what he means with the "nothing happened" statement...is he denying the charges, or is he just saying that nothing new came to light at the police station? The story and the context of the quote makes it seem as if he's just flat out denying the 'incident', which I hope is not the case...unless Debra IS lying (I can dream can't I).
Comic Book Guy: "Last night's 'Itchy & Scratchy' was, without a doubt, the worst episode ever. Rest assured that I was on the Internet within minutes, registering my disgust throughout the world."
With Austin gone from the WWE lineup and the Rock moving on to movies, officials say they're searching for up-and-comers--such as 6-foot-4, 305-pound Brock Lesnar--to headline matches on Monday Night Raw.

Are you absolutely sure you want to use those words to describe the Rock?

No, just the common sense police there, DJ...easily miscontrued remarks such as his can make any point he was trying to make seem invalid, or at the very least cause one to "consider the source.".

As a member of the "absolutely sickening" media you speak of, I politely ask you to pull your head out of the ground for a moment.
Certian members of the media like Rush Limbaugh and Jim Rome hold their opinions and that forms the basis of their shows. However shows like newscasts are not to have a "sickening biased" opinion, and should definitly check facts. There is the three rules regarding the news;
Accuracy. Brevity. Clarity.
If a station is not following these three rules, then they aren't doing their newscasts proeprly and you need to go find a source that does do them right. If not, you have no one to blame but yourself for seeing second rate media coverage.

The Rock has been more over than Austin for the past couple of years, FYI.

"When Eddy RUDOS like an absolute mother____er for Rey and Cena, I hope you realize that nobody else on EARTH- EARTH- Earth being Mexico/Japan/Puerto Rico- is as good as the absolute mother____er that is the mother____ing GREAT Eddy Guerrerro."
Pro wrestling's "Stone Cold" Steve Austin surrendered to authorities in San Antonio after a judge issued an arrest warrant for him on a domestic violence complaint. Steve Williams-his real name- was charged with assault with bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor, police said. He was free after posting $5,000 bond. "Nothing happened," the 37-year-old Williams said as he left the Bexar County Courthouse, the San Antonio Express-News reported on its website. He declined further comment. Debra Williams, the wrestler's wife, called police around 4 a.m. June 15. The officer who arrived at their San Antonio home found the woman at the front of the house crying and said he saw "a large noticeable welt" just below her right eye. The wrestler had left the house before police arrived but later spoke to the responding officer by phone. The Williamses married last year in Las Vegas. It is the wrestler's third marriage. In June, officials at World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. said Williams, who had been their featured television attraction, had failed to show up as scheduled at two events and "is no longer an active member of WWE's talent roster."
At least these people get the facts straight.
After lots of thinking I finally came to a theory: Any non-wrestler who gets attacked by the Island Boyz will immediately recieve praise from the Wienerville community. There's no other way to explain it.

I'm wondering how you could respond to that without a) asking what the hell the FrostyPhone is and b) why the hell he has the P.C. Police on his speed-dial.
I am a 21-time Wiener of the Day. Unfortunately, all of my reigns happened during house shows, including 5 in the past week, and are not officialy recoginzed.
"BobHollySTILLRules STILL rules!" -SmooveK, finally letting the world know what a select few have known all along. That I do, indeed, rule.
Nothing, I just found that line funny as hell and was hoping my questions would cause you to expound upon them.
Oh well.

You know, the only reason we know the media has trashed all the facts they've reported is because we already follow the WWE pretty closly both on TV and the internet (not that you'd need to be a super-fan to spot the inaccuracies, but you get the idea) so we already knew most of this stuff before they reported it. It kinda makes me wonder what other facts the media screws up concerning stroies/topics I dont know anything about.
I never said that it was a good or bad thing that they didn't advertise the RAW PPV on Smackdown. I just said it'll make for an interesting buyrate because they generally do their last-minute hype on Smackdown, the higher-rated show.
