We all know how important theme music is in wrestling. With that said what are your faves? To me, most recently Disturbed did an excellent job on the Austin theme, but I think the themes from the good old days totally blow todays themes out of the water. Who can forget Demolition's theme which was pure class, Dusty Rhodes' Common Man, Ted Dibiase's Million Dollar Man, Mr.Perfect's and even The Fabulous Rougeaus. But the best has to be: I am the Mountie, I'm handsome, I'm brave, I'm strong I am the Mountie, and I enforce the law You can try to run, but you can never hide, because the Mountie always gets his maaaan!
Jesse Ventura:"He just hit him with the belt, thats a disqualifaction!, where the hell is the referee?." Tony Schiavone:"But that's on the outside of the ring Jesse". Jesse Ventura:"So what?, what are you going to tell me Schiavone, you can shoot somebody outside of the ring, as long as it's outside the ring?, you are even dumber than Monsoon, I thought Gorilla was the stupidest man alive!." Warrior Rude at SummerSlam '89'
Sabu coming out to the JAWS theme was cool. New Jack playing the entire "Natural Born Killaz" rules. And if you take the entrance as a whole, Booker T. and Goldust both have cool entrances.
You mean other than Mark Henry? WHOOOOO BAM CHICKA CHICKA BAM BAM CHICKA WHOOOO!?
Goldust is good. Christian is fine. Supreme isn't bad. Undertaker's original music kicked ass, and TAKA's original music ROCKED THE COCK. '80s Hogan in high profile matches was keen for the whole entrance deal.
Oh, and the Goon! THE GOON!

I'm almost ashamed to say this, but I've always been fond of Viscera's theme music. That was one phat beat.
And I just KNOW you're gonna respond with some "fat beat" joke, so forget it!
"Isn't it ironic seeing a guy with a 'Saved 1' shirt lying in a pool of his own blood with a head-sized hole in the car next to him?" -The Great Thomas on Shawn Michaels
"This could only have been better if Bobby Heenan had been there and said, 'Mini-Dust. He was 28 years old.'" -ekedolphin on MiniDust's attack by the Island Boyz
HBK's music was always great - both "Sexy Boy" and the original DX theme.
Goldust's music should also get a mention, IMO, but currently, I think Rob Van Dam has the best.
"And in front of the entire world, I want to show my little boy that sometimes - just sometimes, you have to FIGHT to be a man." - Michael S. Hickenbottom, the man who does not take part in angles that conflict with his religion, swearing violent revenge on HHH in full view of his two-year-old son. 11:06 PM, EST. 08/05/02. Kurt Angle's music is great, particularly the segment right after the segment in which You suck! is traditionally chanted. His entrance is equally awesome, when he raises his arms to the sky and gets the red, white and blue pyro.
Chris Jericho's has always been one of my personal favorites. Entrance and music both. I'm almost ashamed to admit this (almost), but whenever he comes out, I stand up, do his arms pose, and actually sing his theme song.
Ric Flair's entrance and theme song have always been great. Not necessarily because of the entrance itself, but because of the epic music that accompanies the very regal-looking, robe-wearing Flair when he comes out to it. Of course, whenever Flair comes out, I raise the four fingers.
I liked the nWo's entrance when they arrived in the WWF. The whole screen turning black-and-white, with the strobe effects... awesome. Far less potentially seizure-inducing than the DX entrance, but still a really cool individual touch.
I, too, loved Curt Hennig's WWF theme music as Mr. Perfect.
Sting's entrances when he was fighting the nWo in 1997 were, of course, rocking. The nWo would be gang-jumping everybody in sight, and then the crowd would SCREAM as Sting came repelling down from the rafters. I have many fond memories of those times.
I've only seen Rey Mysterio once since his return, but his entrance looked killer. Yay, I get to watch SmackDown! tonight for the second time in a row! WHOOHOO!
Edge's entrance is quite good.
Triple H's is one of the best. And I am ashamed to say this, but I sing his theme music too, just like I do Jericho's.
I can't believe it! I just got pinned by a freaking 12-year-old!-- Kurt Angle talking about Rey Mysterio on WWE SmackDown!, 8/9/02
Two-Time, Two-Time Randomly Selected Weiner of the Day, 5/27/02 and 7/3/02
I agree with Gangrel, that must be my all-time favorite.
HHH's current "Time to play the game" also rules, but it's better for a heel than a face.
Other honorable mentions: Legion of Doom, Kane, Booker T, Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner, Big Boss Man's "Hard time" (that was fuckeeeeeen cool), Nasty Boys.
"Wanting people to listen, you can't just tap them on the shoulders anymore, you gotta hit them with a sledgehammer!"
-RAW's 'Thorn in Your Eye' that I miss so much. -Christian -RVD -Benoit -HHH's 'Time to Play the Game' but I liked 'My Time' too. -Kane -Jericho's first version of 'Break the Walls Down' -Austin's the first 1,000 times. -DX is timeless...
I just can't believe NO ONE liked "I'm An Ass Man". Shame.
--nWo theme --Hogan's Hendrix theme rules --Booker has an awesome one --Chuck & Billy's is also one of my current faves.
"Yoooouuuuu look sooooo good to me"
Matthew: You would've loved it, David. A week in a foreign country, strange people, strange customs... Dave: Oh, I know what you mean. I've been to Canada.
Speaking of entrances, does anyone remember the preacher type guy who got lowered from the roof on a podium a coupla times. This was back in the pre-Owen-accident days, almost right before it, to the best of my memory. I think he was associated with Kurgan, but I can't remember who he was or what happened to him, and its really bugging me. Anyone know??

If he was associated with Kurrgan, then I'm guessing it was The Jackal.
"YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME?" - The chilling words of the Shockmaster!
"Here comes Charles Benoit, and he's really mad.....Charles Benoit is here, and he's FUCKING CRAZY"- T.R. on the barbecued cat thread (it's too terrible to link)
THE AWESOME UNDERTAKER drives out - damn, how did those STEEL steps rise up onto their ends and out of the way of - hey wait, I see DUDES there! They must be soulless minions of Big Evil's Red Devil Underwood Deviled Ham Team Evil. What? - CRZ, back to his old antics
Flair and the Midnight Express have to be considered best theme music. Honorable mention though goes to Windham and Rotundo back in the Springsteen days of the U.S. Express, before Vince stopped paying money for themes.
Flame me if you will, but my favorite's always been the Corporate Ministry's music. It's just the mix of whoever the pompous ass-sounding singers are, the Ministry-style actual music, and Shane-O's cackling that just creates this uber-pwn theme. Other ones have NO CHANCE IN HELL, AHAHAHAHAHAHA-YEAH!
On a local Radio station down here in Atlanta, Angle was the guest and one of the Morning type guys kept mouthing off to Angle saying how he went to pro-wrestling school and could beat him in a match, with Angle telling the guy he would pin him in under 5...
