I can't believe how Stephanie chewed out three of my favorite wrestlers: Kidman, Hardcore Holly, and Mike Awesome. It reminds me of when the Alliance members would all look like punks by getting talked down to by Stone Cold every week. Here are some questions:
Was Steph inspired by the infamous Triple H pep talk? What is wrong with these guys watching Raw? Maybe they were checking up on the competition, checking in on old friends, trying to scout some new moves, etc. Steph said they should be watching Smackdown on tv instead, but how would that be possible when it isn't broadcast until two days later? How could these three not get ring time, when Rico, Mark Henry, and D-Von are all seeing action? Shouldn't all three of them jump to Raw to spite Stephanie?
I think we are supposed to go with that old theory that it is "Live" and not taped. And I agree with you, all of them should go to Raw just to spite Stephanie.
I did laugh at its similarities to the reported HHH speech. I'm not sure what else the point of the segment was. To get Steph over as a heel? Oh, wait, she isn't one...
gonna build a giant drill and bore straight into hell releasing ancient demons from their sleep-forever spell so they can walk upon the earth and get recituated and run the diet pill pyramid that MC Pee Pants has created
Wow, Steph finds some SLACKERS back stage watching the Opposing product, gives them an appropriate dressing down, and she's a heel? That's a strong woman taking her show by the horns and laying a verbal smackdown on some lazy guys backstage. Kudos to her! who was that fourth guy? I loved how she yells at him and he just looks at her quick and bolts without saying a word. hahaha. I hated heel steph towards the end of her last run. but i've always had a thing for straight haired steph ever since she was the pretty little damsel in distress being crucified by the Undertaker. as long as she's not screeching she's one of my favorite wwe women. go steph go! kick bischoff where it hurts, right in the *testicles*
She is trying to run her father's company into the ground, so don't watch RAW. And Eric wants you to stop watching Smackdown. NWA here I come. What? ten dollars! I love Steph, but her yelling at wrestlers for watching wrestling!!!! I can see it now....Hunter...I mean Paul.... put down that sledgehammer....it was part the show ....it was scripted...I wasn't trying to contradict your pre-Raw speech....it's a storyline....your a booker...you know? You all know if it was real ass-chewing aboot wrestling not RAW, the only one of those three who should be watching as much wrestling as he can would be Mike Awesome. His Velocity match wasen't at all good, his timing was way off.

I'm not sure what is so hard to understand. They were watching RAW for entertainment purposes. RAW is the enemy. She chewed them out, because she is Smackdown, and Smackdown is in competition with RAW. How does that make her a heel? Seems like people want to put in context with the Triple H speech, but that didn't happen on air, thus it didn't happen. You have to separate fiction from reality. (plus the Triple H speech was suppose to be a positive thing, even if most of the net, and quite frankly I agree, didn't look at it that way)
The segment is suppose to continue to get over that the two brands are in competition, and that competition is suppose to be cutthroat.
(I also wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of them appear on RAW next week)

Awesome's a waste of space on the roster. He looked awful against Tajiri last weekend.
My theory is that Steph may have had something to do with the assault on Michaels. Remember she didn't make an appearance on Raw. That's why she didn't want that shown again.
Her speech was probably inspired by HHH's monologue to the RAW brand the week that Bischoff came.
"Catching Hitler was neato!" "Next stop, Hirohito!" Bart Simpson
I've heard tale that that speech was actually supposed to parody a pep talk by Bischoff during the Monday Night Wars telling WCW Wrestlers not to watch Raw.
Yeah any of those 3 guys showing up on Raw would make a huge impact. I mean, yeah, I'D pop for Holly, but no one else would give a damn. Same goes for Kidman, same goes for Awesome. That segment was merely there to further show us the *COMPETITION* between the shows.

DON'T BELIEVE IT!
*I* want to be the right one!
Note: In honor of the soon-to-be NWA Champion, the Hardcore Holly titantron is on hiatus, so that was can all GET ROWDY!
Awesome looks fat and he sucked against Tajiri on Velocity last week. Just put him in a tag team already so he can be the power guy. The whole feud is lame because it's based on the other show sucking. What does that gain the WWE? While the split roster is working O.K. but ripping on your own product is stupid. Plus the whole stealing talent. Does Vince really want to pay Benoit 100K more to wrestle on SD than Raw? What does that gain him? It should be the wrestlers who feud against the other show not the management.
I just have 13 words for you. How much wood would a woodchuch chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

You guys do realize he was out at least 6 months w/ a knee injury (ACL)? He's only had matches for the last couple weeks, and that was his 1st televised match since Invasion time. Cut him some slack, he's got ring rust to work out. They all can't come back like Beniot.
Matthew: You would've loved it, David. A week in a foreign country, strange people, strange customs... Dave: Oh, I know what you mean. I've been to Canada.
I have to think they wouldn't set up a major feud which they can't deliver by having Benoit do this. If they just wanted to reintro him, they could have just had him do the opening segment and then leave.
