It was very odd for me to see Stephanie McMahon as the GM of Smackdown, but I wanted to give her a benefit of a doubt if she can put in an honest effort. Well, let's see, she finalized the divorce, grabbed King Brock, and most importantly, she kept her voice at a bearable level for the entire week so far. Many of you think that she couldn't do that, but she has, so I wanna give my props to Ms. McMahon. Way to go, Stephanie, I knew you could do it! By the way, what the hell happened with CRZ last week?!

Except at the very end of the show, when she started shrieking "Bischoff! Open this door!"

whereupon thousands of viewers instinctively covered their ears

PS -- On the plus side, for some reason I really dig Stacy & Steph working together as GM-and-assistant to save the show. Something new, eh?

I have to agree here. I think Stacy actually gets more "strength" out of this role than playing Vince's latest conquest (ugh). And Stephanie has been relatively non-irritating since her return.
I like the direction of this GM angle so far. As my good friend RawLo said to me, "It reminds me of the beginnings of the nWo." Remember, "Who's joining the nWo?" at the end of every Nitro before they fried the angle?

Oh, you're right. I should've said, "Kept her voice bearable for the most part." I agree, about Stacy and Steph, but Stacy still seems kind of a dumbass. Oh, well, as long as we won't see Vince and his slut of the week for a while... ::whew!::

That is a definate plus! It seems like Vince is using the GMs too keep himself off the screen for while, and a face Steph against a heel Bischoff is just want the WWE needed right now. Steph is doing a great job so far in my humble opinion.

I'm enjoying face Steph so far. She looks demure and is being portrayed as a sensible, assertive woman. Having Stacy with her is a good move as well.

BUT...

There is one image of Steph I'll never be able to clear from my mind. The night HHH destroyed the wedding set...as he left the ring, Steph's face was on the Titantron and she looked positively EVIL. Her mouth was open in this shrieking vampiress guise and there was spit stretched between her teeth...

Somehow I can't believe they won't go back to that someday.

Stephanie will always be the little girl on Undertaker's weird sign for me. It was eerie listening to her wail as she was raised up on it. I remember that like it was yesterday. I have no idea what Vince was thinking, taking UT in that direction, using his own daughter to try to get UT over as a brute. I mean, there had to be some other, better way to do it.

Face Steph is hot. If she had the fake knockers taken all out she would be much better.

From someone who has only hated Stephanie McMahon, I have to say that she acts and at least LOOKS a ton better than she did before. The serious office lady look fits her well, and she looks pretty damn good in it. I guess she is pretty attractive after all, and her playing a face role is a good thing. I say this is a good move so far.

The beginning of Smackdown, She was Awesome, Great way to start the program with that cool footage of Steffo announcing our matches for the night.

I will always remember that Lucy thing (because I have unfortunately taped it), but after this week I pretty much forgotten who she was, and DON'T REMIND ME!!! I know it's hard for some of us to give her her props, but when you give her a benefit of a doubt, she can surprise you in a good way sometimes, I find. Well, I must say that when she acts mature as the GM, I feel as if a burden is lifted off our shoulders.

You're talking about the current one, I assume.

I'll leave you with one of my all time favorite HHH quotes... Uh.... Oh, yeah:

"You can't make me come just by telling me to."
To one Stacy Keibler who, of course, didn't know what he meant by that. Try me out Hunter, I'll change your mind!

I NEVER thought I would buy Steph as a face again, but so far she's proving me wrong. Maybe it's just that she's acting subdued while Uncle Eric's a loud camera-hogging jackass. I took quick notice of which GM started their show with themself in the ring talking for 10 minutes.

Yeah, Steph has actually impressed me. She looks good (except for the boob job... why, Steph, why?), hasn't been shrieking, and seems to be away from the other MacMahons, which is a definite plus. I like her much more away from HHH and Daddy dearest. This face turn might actually work. I was pretty pissed when she showed up as the new GM- I was hoping for Foley, or HBK at least, but I think I'll give her a chance.

Yeah, I was pretty pissed to see Steffo as the face SM manager, but I have to see, I freely and gladly eat my words. Sure's doing a great job, and I think the fact that the audience knows she's "not a nice girl" adds to the whole "dynamic business woman" character and look she has going. The audience knows she can be ruthless and agressive (sorry) if she needs to be to get the job done.

I will give big props to Steph if she punishes Stacey for losing Hulk Hogan, or whomever went to Raw, by forcing her not in a lingerie match, but a real match. Then she tells Stacy's opponent to go stiff on her.
