Anyone else on this? Good origin story here. Rather film Noir for a color thing. John Lithgow was amzing in it. Matthew Rhys is an unexpected Perry Mason (It's hard to imagine anyone but Raymond Burr in the role) but I like it
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.
That the universe was formed by a fortuitous concourse of atoms, I will no more believe than that the accidental jumbling of the alphabet would fall into a most ingenious treatise of philosophy - Swift
I watched the first episode and didn't like it. It didn't help that I was expecting a lawyer show. I guess the idea is he's going to become a lawyer, but based on the first episode it just seemed that they randomly picked a famous character and gave these characters the names of that character and others associated with him. Just not my thing, much as I like Matthew Rhys.
I made it 3 episodes in before they lost me. It's a great looking show visually, but the story became too much for me to follow considering the amount of attention I was paying to it.
If any good came from this episode, it's that we got a really good character moment for Sideshow Mel, something I didn't think previously possible. Other than that, though, this felt like a waste.
